Schache was great in his first game backWas great up forward against Essendon. Had a quiet night. Stick with it for a couple.
Caleb Daniels 100 games qualifies him for the father son club (or should I say, father midget club)Three milestones for us next week...
Jack Macrae - 150 games

We played Gold Coast in a scratch mate yesterday apparentlyDoes anyone know if we had/have a scratch match this week?

Team selection is always an issue. What is he in the side for? Picked as a half back flanker, gets beaten, no good in the air, poor disposal, ends up at FF cause they have too many half back flankers
Schache was great in his first game back
Then quiet against Carlton
Can mark overhead and upside.Natural forward.Suckling wing backline or no need.
Liber can’t play the three games coming up, I’d suggest we rest him this week. Richmond’s midfield has injuries, I’d rather have him against Port and the Lions.
Yet was one of our best there two weeks ago. Then hopefully he isn't playing forward again.

With the peculiarities of this season, a pretty sound strategy would be to have a solid, settled back 7 and to vary personnel, workloads and combinations through the middle and forward.
It feels like that is what we are working towards.
With the short break it's all a bit of a lottery, but Richmond's defence is all a bit midsized, would like to see Schache in for Gowers.

I thought I imagined that when I saw it. I think Billy might be out of chances even with Bevo.We can not continue to play mid half back flankers as forwards.......I'm sure I saw the works what the fu** was Billy Gowers doing come out of Bevo's mouth after the game when the camera was on him.
The problem with no two's is you don't know what is happening with others.....Dickson, Greene, Trengrove, Sweet etc. I think they are clearing a lacking a tall forward and have been able to cover it just but with better teams to come they won't be able to continue, especially with Bruce hit and miss.
Picking so many kids may be the flavour of the month but a couple are not up to it I think and if Roake Smith replaces Lachie Young in the words of the great Plough I might just spew up.
Out Gowers, Weightman, Young, Porter
In Lewis Young, Sweet, Trengrove or Shache, McLean, Dickson (is he fit), West, Greene, anyone else by Gowers.....but it will be probably another debutante
And he friggin desrves it imo DB, the kid played his guts out got injured early and had the courage to come back on, played in the middle when needed, got crunched, got crucified by the umps and gave everything he had in that last few minutes and all people can say is he got a game because he's a great clubman. Personally I think he's up against it specially in our midfield but not going to stamp his papers because of what transpired last night. It was a tough game in tough conditions to pop your cherry on and feel he deserves to be considered again..In: A. Footballer
Out: B. Gowers
Don't think Porter looks like an AFL standard player either but he will probably get another crack.
I think one of Young, Porter or Weightman will be dropped. I'm happy seeing the young kids be given games, but we can't afford to carry too many when they inevitably have quiet games. The Tigers are nothing compared to what they were in 2017-2019, so we should be beating them without too much trouble, but they will capitalise if we expose ourselves too much through youth.
Hopefully Dale is good for next week. He should be coming back in for Gowers.
We need another tall up forward honestly. Schache or Young needs to come in for Lachie Young or Weightman.
Minimal changes this week after a win. I'd hope it's no more than Gowers plus one of Weightman, Young or Porter
