In my opinion 200cm ruckman will not cut it in the future. With the centre bounce ruck rules it will be 205cm plus. People like Darcy and Reeves will be the norm. The coaches know this already.
How about we throw a mid season hail Mary at this guy?

Jongkuch Mach (born 8 October 2007) is an Australian basketball player who plays as a centre. He currently competes for the BA Centre of Excellence in the NBL1 East. 18 years old and just a mere 229cm (7ft 6)

Looking at Dees record this season 6 from 6 at the G and 1 from 4 away from the G. Looking at reasons we can win this seems like the only one.

Was gonna say that - this list of 5 players was posted by GVGjr well before it came to Bigfooty 😂

Entirely possible dougs wing is one of the frequent Woof users who attends training regularly though
I've said it before I'm on both sites and I do have a talk to the regular track watchers.
I try to time mentioning the specific names here until 20 minutes before they get announced.
More than happy to step back if it's creating doubt and angst.

Please don’t. Information on the Internet is free. You are doing no harm and I appreciate your updates.

Baker, Davidson and Emmett omitted

Cleary, JOD, Ads, Jacques and Crofty in.

And the announced outs of Truck and Buss

Will be interesting how Croft is used this week. Throughout the season we’ve generally only had three talks on the ground at the one time (1 ruck, 2 key forwards). Croft and Lewis in the first four games really only came on when English, Naughton or Darcy were off. Since then we’ve had one of Emmett or Smith playing and at this stage of their career they are very limited so barely spent any time forward

The forward line looked very bland last week. Was Naughton or nothing. Lewis has been fine this year, will always give effort which is sometimes all you need as a bigger body. Would like to see us rocking the three tall forward set up for an extended period of time this week and hopefully ease the pressure off of Naughton a bit

I’m presuming Treloar will be on restricted minutes again. Couldn’t get out of first gear against Sydney but still racked up the touches which showcases his talent. He won’t be able to run defensively so think you just have to try and pick and choose his moments, if the game gets too fast he might have to just sit. He’ll get some clearances and contested possessions which is the area we were absolutely torched in last week

I really wish we’d give Hynes an extended run in the VFL. He just looks more lost every time he plays. Give him a month, let him dominate and then see if he can contribute with his confidence back. Find it hard to believe that he’ll offer more than Baker could

How in the hell does Hynes get a game in front of Oscar got me beat.

Defensive work, I don't think the coaches are happy with Baker's last few weeks defensively.

For example last week:

Hynes - 14 pressure acts, 4 tackles
Baker - 8 pressure acts, 0 tackles

Port Adelaide Game:

Hynes - 11 pressure acts, 5 tackles
Baker - 7 pressure acts, 0 tackles

I don't think Baker is doing the required defensive stuff.

I don't believe so, are you hearing differently?
Why not with about 9 thousand people

Because we need to see if Hynes can play football at the elite level and not wait to 2029 and give mature over 30 year old players a game instead of youth .

Don’t think there is any reason why we can’t win

They are running off momentum and vibes. Probably similar to where we were at 2015, no one expected much from their season with who departed but guys have filled the void and they are just running with it

Obviously there is a chance that Gawn puts on an absolute masterclass and we’re on the back foot all game, like the Hawthorn game vs Meek and Reeves, but Lobb looked up for the battle last week and hopefully he can límit him a little bit

Can I ask a silly question ❓. Who will be the second ruck in this game please don't tell me Lewis ?

Given availability. These are sensible changes and inclusions.

We might as well blow up Treloar at AFL level as have him play out his career at Footscray where the same outcome may occur.
