Changes Round 11 vs Demons

Spot on so far.

Croft Cleary Jaques JOD on field and Treloar on extended bench.

Buss and Williams only confirmed outs with injury. Not sure when Buss got injured?

During the game last week, I think second quarter. Got tackled heavily onto his shoulder and went off for a bit.

Like the potential changes, unsure if Treloar makes the final team or not but guessing the bench is Bramble, Coffield, Davidson, McNeil, Treloar with Emmett, Hynes and Baker omitted.

Cleary deserves a shot and has a few potential match ups with those mid sized forwards the Dees have. Good to see Jaques back and hopefully he gets a run on the wing as named and stays there for a few weeks to see how he looks. Croft makes sense to give us another forward / 2nd ruck option with Emmett just not having a big impact in either role. Croft's vfl form hasn't been great but we are out of options and need a big game from him.

Sometimes things change but this one looked very likely.
Buss got injured in last weeks game and then didn't train earlier in the week.
Today he wasn't in the contact work so it wasn't difficult to piece that together.
It is his shoulder. He might have injured it in the warm up.

He’s been 50/50, didn’t train Tuesday, trained for most of today but pulled up a bit sore so they’ve ruled him out. Hopefully should just be short term but who knows with how this year is going
Just a slight correction, while he trained it was more running based and he couldn't raise his arm correctly very early in the session so had to join the concussion players and Vandermeer and Williams on the sidelines.

Buss is a bit like Arty in that when he finally gets a senior game he can’t string a series together because of injuries.

I feel sorry for the kid because his opportunity came and when it did he was finally starting to show signs he could make it.

Arty should sit him down and give him the talk on the value of persistence and staying positive.

Don't know what's going on this year. Davidson, Dolan, Freijah, Hynes, Croft, all our kids bar Sanders have gone backwards. Even our mature players, I think only JOD pre-injury is better than last year. There must've been an internal meeting at Round 4 where we decided we couldn't get El Souki, Butters and Ballard with our draft hand so will tank and roll the dice on next year.

Buss has had shoulder issues pretty much since he arrived at the club.

Baker, Coff, Bramble, Treloar, McNeil is who I'd go with

Backs: JOD, Buku, Dale, Budarick, Cleary, Coffield, Sellwood
Mids: Lobb, Bont, Sanders, Freijah, Kennedy, Richards, Baker, Jacques, Bramble
Fwds: Naughton, Lewis, Croft, West, Jones, McNeil, Treloar

On a positive note Cleary was our best in the VFL and should have been in a couple of weeks ago.

JOD back is a postive and Jacques hopefully plays and is allowed to develop on a wing.

Buss unlucky in many ways.

Only Bramble, Coffield and Trealor if fit are moat likely on the bench. Not a good sign of strength when you can raffle the other 5 for the 2 other spots and not move the needle.

We will definately be looking at 2 rucks next season, that is if English stays. Cant see any circumstance Smith stays

I have followed the dogs for a long time and Hynes, Davidson, Emmett and McNeill would be the equal to the worst 4 players going into a game you know will give you nothing. It is like playing 4 players short.

Hynes and Emmett may develop over time but are getting a game because the cupboard is bare. Hate to know what The Bont and Butters are thinking.
Butter is thinking, excellent, get their shit games out of the way now so that they are good when I get there. Optimistic thinking

If both teams agree to not run or go above a fast walking pace he'd fit in but based on his last game he needs to leave the change room a minute or so before the rest of the team to get to the run through banner at the same time as them
You’ve heard of walking netball, this is a trial for the future of walking football….oh wait we already have soccer and rugby league…..

Ducks head

Haha not the worst idea. Bevo didn’t want to play him when he was 30 and still near his prime though
Surely us and Richmond just about qualify for one of the ex stars that ply their trade playing one game on the Country circuit.
