I'll give Drury props, he always chases, but if you aren't getting close and tackling them or at least applying perceived pressure then it counts for nothing.

Curtis gives up, Stephenson gives up, Zurhaar gives up and Duursma hasn't shown any defensive intensity across half forward. You can't just say that Ford is the only one who doesn't give it his all in that department.

Difference between Ford, Drury, Stephenson ect is that he actually puts on scoreboard pressure. Also far more creative on a wing compared to a deadset plodder in Tucker.

Blind freddy can see he and his mates simply dont work hard enough when the ball isn’t around.

It stands out like dogs balls.

You know what puts pressure on the opposition more than tackling and more than pressure acts....hitting the ****ing scoreboard, which Ford does on a regular basis.

Either way, there seems to be a set of rules for Ford and a separate set of rules for the likes of Stephenson, Zurhaar, Tucker, Stephens ect.

For the 2 goals he scores the opposition are scoring more from their defensive half vs us than anyone else. We are being mauled from there. Our half forwards dont work hard enough. And Ford especially doesn’t work hard enough. You can throw others names into the ring. I wont dispute that, but even JS does more than him.
