This game makes me nervous now - there is a strong chance Buddy kicks a bag. We just need to minimise the damage from the other forwards and hope someone down our end (JK, Ryan) kicks a bag in response. It sucks that not only have we lost a key defender, increasing their chances of scoring, we have also lost a key forward (Darling), decreasing our ability to score.

If Allen and Brander make the cut they will add to the six debutants who have already been exposed to senior football this year – as well as Ah Chee, who played his first game for the club after being traded from Port Adelaide in round eight.

Yeo, one of the standout performers in the 47-point triumph over Richmond, will be a welcome inclusion against a strong Hawthorn midfield.
What? Where did you read that?

Probably not the worst week for Barrass to miss.
The potential players who will run through Sydney's forward line, outside of Buddy, consists of the following:
Tom McCartin (192cm)
Gary Rohan (189cm)
George Hewett (188cm)
Will Haywood (186cm)
Luke Parker (183cm)
Oliver Florent (183cm)
Harry Cunningham (182cm)
Ben Ronke (182cm)
Kieren Jack (178cm)
Tom Papley (177cm)

In fact, Sydney have only 5 players over 190cm playing this week - Sinclair, Aliir, Buddy, McCartin and Grundy.
So it's probably alright if we drop from 7 down to 6.

Spot on, but in the absence of Barrass, Lycett/NN simply must go with Sinclair when he goes forward or failing Jetta playing a burster, there will be some red faces.

It's interesting to note the pecking order. Hutchings and Ah Chee out, Sheed, Jetta and Nelson retained.

Is this the last roll of the dice for Jetta?

I imagine Aliir or McCartin are the only chop outs for Sinclair.
So no excuses not to really ground him down over the game.
Will really mitigate any early dominance they might have in the midfield.
