Krak has been arguably one of our most consistently performed players, why the hell would you make him sub?

For mine, atm Mitchell is an integral part of the team.

The teams devoid of run. Krakeour averages 3.7 second half disposals and 67.3% TOG. 67.3%! Whether it's team offence or team defence it's obvious Krak has a fitness flaw that the rest of the team is carrying. Subbing him in allows him to come in for a quarter to a half and play offensive game breaking football through the middle that we lack without Polec. IMO it's his best position until he is AFL running capable and it really may open up our midfield run.

Can't agree with that, krak has been our best running defender in recent weeks.

Before Krakouer debuted, can you recall club officials saying "Krakouer doesn't have AFL standard fitness and is a while off yet"?

I think he debuted a week or two afterwards..

Because atm we don't have anyone ready to play his linking role to the same levels or better.

Actually, we do. If Sam Colquoun WAS to get a game Kane Mitchell's current spot in the side is exactly the spot we should be getting him to fill. In fact, i could think of any number of current fringe players I'd give it to over Mitchell, O'Shea for starters. Mitchell is too fumbly, kicks too poorly even under no pressure, misses too many easy tackles, and lacks too much in awareness to be filling a spot in the side.

Yep.

While his running ability is important, that's all he offers. He needs to develop a couple more strings to his bow.

If he learned to tag or something he'd be so much more valuable.

Hinkley is saying only possibly 2 changes, Wines and Alipate back in. He believes we should be giving the playing group a chance to redeem themselves. From that I would suggest Mitchell and the Hoff are petty safe. Probably Amon and O'Shea to go out.

i will be pissed if this is true

redeem themselves? how about dropping players who are playing shithouse and rewarding those in the SANFL that are playing well

Great observation re the Krak.

Mitchell isn't perfect but he's a safer bet than Sam C ATM (IIRC there was talk of Sam spraying disposals in the SANFL the last few weeks, working hard enough but not yet finishing off well as he'd done at AFL level in the past, maybe that's a fitness thing post the knee, who knows). So if we wanted to be "brave" at selection we might drop Mitchell instead of Amon, and (maybe) sub Amon out for Krak somewhere after half time depending on circumstances.

Sounds like Wines will come in most likely for Amon (but maybe for Mitchell) either way, that should help our clearances.
Surely Bob comes in for O'Shea and that should help our bloody DE coming out of defence.

Now, about those bloody one-dimensional F50 entries... are we game to drop the Hoff, back Lobbe to ruck most of the day, Ryder to present up forward most of the day and bring in say Neade for a bit of variety?

Thought White did his hammy? No?
