I have absolute faith in Gray and believe he will reward Ken's faith. Bring on the Tigers!

so far at AFL level he played well in his first game vs Brisbane.. 3 goals if i remember right. But then we smashed them by 20 goals and it was easy to look good.

Since then he has been mediocre at best. Has done a couple of nice things but thats about it

FFS -Sam Gray deserves a chance according to Ken. Then ****en play him in the middle because thats where he plays in the SANFL. If he plays just as a small forward then you know Ken is just taking the piss.

Stewart, Young, Ah Chee, Neade, Amon, will be pissed off if they dont get a game before Gray.

You've got this one backwards I think. It would be better if he played as a small forward in the SANFL. Same for Mitchell.

People are so quick to write off players who they've actually seen a bit of at AFL level yet pump up those they haven't. Sammy Gray is small and seemingly not developed to AFL level yet, but far out all week people have been pumping up AhChee who is nowhere near Gray's level yet, so settle down, hold fire and let's see how he goes.

Sam did some good stuff in the preseason and showed he could add something so let's see how he goes.

For mine I still would've picked Neade ahead of him but I can understand they may think Gray gives extra flexibility with his ability to spend more time in the middle.

I'm still hoping to see Moore and Young come into consideration though with Wines.

Hinkley is saying only possibly 2 changes, Wines and Alipate back in. He believes we should be giving the playing group a chance to redeem themselves. From that I would suggest Mitchell and the Hoff are petty safe. Probably Amon and O'Shea to go out.

I think it gets down to how many changes is too many in one week, I would have thought 3 is absolute max.

I'm not sure you'd get too many coaches that would readily omit the Hoff due to his 'potential' and matchup headaches that he causes.

Personally I reckon I liked his game against Geelong just as much as his debut.

All he has to do is be cleaner with the ball and he'll be a very good addition to the side. He knows how to get space on his opponent which is important, but generally fumbles. Lets hope he has sticky fingers this week if he does come in.

What REH? He's 175cm, I don't want him playing inside midfield in a must win AFL game.

He could come in and play small forward for White maybe, but really he shouldnt even be on our list.

So with Polec out, White slowed by injury, if we drop Amon and/or Krak we'll be 2013 slow. Unless Sam Gray has had a very late growth spurt then bringing in an SANFL midfielder to play small forward seems a bizarre selection when the midfield is the main issue. If he plays, then FFS give him decent midfield time so we can start seeing if he can perform the role at AFL level.

Sam deserves his chance and has been dogged in the SANFL... Is he better than Stewart Neade Young AChee?? Don't know don't care ..he has played well in the sanfl and deserves his spot..REWARD performance

Yep, has to play as a midfielder in the AFL. I'm happy to see what he can do, and he's been in very good form in the SANFL.

Wow, didn't see that coming. S.Gray has been in great form at SANFL level but I just don't know what he brings at AFL level. He plays as a clearance winning mid in the SANFL but I can't see how he could effectively do that as a 176 cm player in the AFL. He's not a small forward. Maybe he's a replacement for Mitchell as a link man? It's a big call in such a crucial game.

Big omission this week....wow
Well, Sam Gray's certainly a surprising addition. We'll see if there's a 'big omission' too, I suppose.

Didn't see that coming. His form has been solid so hopefully he'll have a great game
