Interesting selection conundrum about to hit the brains trust..
IMO, its a lock in that they will go with 3 kpds in Griff, Rance & Grimes.
Griff will take Tippett and Grimes to Walker and Rance as the "wolf".
Also tipping that O'Hanlon will be, or should i say, should retained at the very least as a sub, especially if its a sort of dry track.
Reckon the kamikaze might get a longer time to get over the shoulder.
One of Dea/Batchelor will get the tap on the shoulder, tipping it might be Dea for this one.
Although Batch stunk it up to an extent in the last few, his "experience" will get him the nod, over Dea.

Super important game for us in the scheme of things that will hail our arrival into September if we can nab the result. The other pleasing thing is that we are 2-0 interstate this year..Lets make it 3-0..;)
Think Morris was rested more than sitting him off, he's had 3 weeks to recover and should play, no reason not to.

I would love to see Post given a crack up forward at some stage. I really hoped it would be on the weekend and was pretty disappointed that they gave the chance to Miller. In the end with the conditions, it wouldn't have helped either of them so probably not a bad thing they gave the opportunity to Milller.

grimes has to come in, betting they will play him for coburg this weekend.
vickery has to come in. maric will need relief in the ruck. miller can not do that against jacobs or tippet. hes taller than their young guys play him on talia or shaw. talia has been an excellent pure shutdown player this year. we just need vicks to contest and hopefully bring the ball to ground for connors, edwards, nahas or king to swoop. vickery swapping with maric very deep would be ideal.

tippet walker callinan and petrenko are thier main goal kickers.

morris will go to callinan and shut him down. just foucus on that. nothing else.
tippet is to big for rance and grimes but I dont think we will play griff if grimes is back. batch will stay and be there to spoil marks.
walker plays up the ground alot and easily booms them from outside 50. rance will go to him.

id tag petrenko. hes damned fast and creates alot of play. shut him out of the game.
tuck head-to-head with thompson might be the go but i think cotch will be a better match up.
tuck can go to sloane and wear him like a glove. get in tight with him dont give him space and tackle him hard.

danger and martin head-to-head all day long. both are damaging, both are fast, both fend off. both will be required to check one another.

we have to break up danger, thompson and sloane running together.

the pies beat the crows with goal scoring midfield dominace. they wore them down over the 4 quarters. they were damned tight on danger and played damaging players on him (sidebottom, beams).

I think we'll want a good tackle count in this game. somewhere 80+.

dont rely on jack rutten will go to him for sure. play jack just a bit higher up to keep their general away from their younger defenders.

keep connors and edwards. spread the load up forward and through the middle.

not confident but I think we can match up well and certainly an upset could happen.

I obviously saw a different game from Dea than the majority. Thought he played with a real confidence that he hasn't shown previously. Has been building over the past 5 weeks and I reckon it was his best game for the club. Batchelor is close to my favourite player but I'd have him out before Dea this week every time. Regardless, I'll trust the match comittee on this one.

Yeah Post should be playing. His 20 games have been similar quality to Griffiths 10 games. Poor bloke deserves a good run. He's had his apprenticeship. Now time to play him in the forward line and use his jump and marking abilities

If post played for us on the weekend GWS would have won. Games from here on are more difficult, we want to win obviously so don't be calling for such silly inclusions.

You think if we are in the finals Miller is going to cause havoc? Posts marking ability is capable of causing problems for the opposition. Play him now and in 10 weeks he'll be showing something

Yeah lets stick with Miller and try and save games. We're stuffed with Reiwoldt and Miller as our 2 tall forwards. Won't beat top 8 sides with 1 dangerous tall forward and another tall who is slow and can't jump but does 1%ers well. He is handy as a 3rd tall but can congest the forward line. We've gotta know what Post can do with another month of games under his belt. Not the last 4 games of the season either

Miller back out and Vickery back in, Vickery will come good again. There is no room for post and its obvious and finally it seems the coaches have to agree with that and thats why he isn't getting a game and will be delisted at years end.

seems we still need another good/gun forward to take pressure off of jack.

can we bloody play astbury forward already or do we have to go and recruit another damn tall that will be 200cm + and take 4 years to develop...

That gun forward is Vickery when he is in form. Last year him and Riewoldt were statistically the best tall forward duo apart from Cloke and Dawes.

Don't think so. Dimma sees something in him and is holding him back to continue to improve his defiencies. This preseason Dimma listed Post as one of 3 players who he sees taking another step. He's mentioned a week or 2 ago we have players at Coburg who will eventually make the grade and he said about 12 months ago that Post will be a long term/10 year player or something along those lines. I expect Post to given a good run at some point. He's just a slow developer who shows some very good attributes such an excellent mark, great leap and confident with his kicking on either foot. I expect him to be the next Coburg player to come through. Griffiths has the been the most recent.

You mean Connors is the most recent.

Your mention of confidence is laughable, the kid has none, along with skill.

As for Hardwick saying those things, people always say things but it doesn't mean it's going to happen. Post would have earned a game this year after being dropped if he was any good. Hate to burst your bubble but Jayden will not make it. Remember it wasn't long ago he shit himself at VFL level.

We will just have agree that on this we will always disagree.

Pretty sure Graham's form is ahead of Browne's atm

Close call, but recent reports show that Browne has played well for Coburg.

At the end of the day, either or (running off the bench) would be a much better option that Spud Miller, providing the darn showers steer clear!

Taken them awhile though. Post is not apart of the future and never will be. Will be good to see him delisted. We want to play finals post in the side will send us backwards. I look forward to the end of the year he should of been delisted last season

Tipping you are a big fan of Post dude..but dont want to admit it yeah?..
My tip is that they wont do anything drastic until he is given a chance at CHF and then if he doesnt cut it, he will get the chop, but not until they have a real good look at him in the senior FL. When that will happen? I dont know, might not be this year either, but they wont move him on until then..;)

in foley,grimes, morris
out miller,ohanlon,houli

Vickory might get back in for dea.

After watching coburg Mcquane looks the only one that could come in and give us something forward.

Post is not ready but at least he showed some signs .

astbury is no chance .

webbs well hes been ok at running around getting cheap kicks (no chance)

Gus and browne r not afl level players but may get a go if mullet gets injured.

Why will Houli be omitted.

Don't worry, he wanted Vickery delisted before his 2011 season too
