Uggh. It should be Sam Gray and Bonner out before SPP IMO. Spray is Ken's love child though, getting him out once in the team each year is borderline impossible.

Sam Gray has played well enough to retain his spot. He had contributed in the middle as well af on the score board. When SPP becomes more accurate in front of the sticks, cleaner in general play and more consistent from game to game he'll provide more hurt factor.

One factor I feel we're all forgetting is that Dixon had straightened out our forward line. He leads even in crowded forward lines and destabilizes the opposition defense. He has stopped that easy rebound out of defense. He can out-body, lead or bring the ball to ground. He had been the biggest change. Without him we're stuffed

You'd hope so. Not sure it discounts the fact he hasn't played against an AFL-level player (with the exception of Adelaide) for nearly an entire year.

I'd say Surcliffe is on stand by to play Houston's defensive midfield role if Dan is still sick thereby maintaining our winning structure.

The last 3 weeks we seem to have finally made a change to maintain our structures through injuries, illnesses and lack of form.

He gives 100% and the way he uses his body is tough as nails. He's adding a hardness to our team at the moment that we really need.
