Can people stop including Davis? Right now unless he plays forward he does not fit into the team, our back half will be far too top heavy.
l.

Wrong.

Davis can pay tall or small and would fit well into the team at the moment.

Hes a big chance to debut this week.

Jordie Mckenzie nearly always beats whoever he plays on, tagging Rockliff seems logical but he will destroy him if he gets forward, maybe Rich instead??

McKenzie was one of the players who had a crack at tagging Black in rd 1, IIRC. You guys were a bit unlucky that day - Black's been pretty good all year (when fit) but he had an absolute day out in round 1.

If you ask most Brisbane supporters, they'd say Rich is the one who should be tagged. He's got the hurt factor, is winning clearances and can struggle a bit with a tag (something that he's improving though). Rockliff doesn't tend to always have the same hurt factor.

Interesting call with Magner to go to Drummond. Hanley had a blinder last week and is arguably the superior footballer but Drummond's kicking is a real point of difference for the Lions.

Yeah agree Black tore us apart in round 1, he's a star. Since then though Mckenzie has beaten guys like Mitchell, Goddard and Thomas (with the help of borderline illegal harassment tactics). Rich's disposal is crazy, so i wouldn't mind the hard tag going to him. Magner might not be racking up the supercoach points now, but he's pretty valuable as a defensive forward so maybe he tries to stop Drummond rebounding. Against West Coke he reminded me how damaging he is. Hanley i need to see more of tbh.

Sellar named at CHF.

Guess we know who will be getting dropped next week... when will you learn than he cant play there Neeldy?

Flash had some hamstring tightness. Disappointing as he showed some signs but they've said they want to nurse him back intermittently playing AFL to rebuild his confidence/endurance lost over 'the last three years'. Loving all the thinly veiled references to the issues of the past regime...

I don't get why Bail gets named every week, he has had a very average season, only 1 good game and he hasn't played a game of football for 3 or 4 weeks now, should be looking for some good form in the VFL before getting a game at Melbourne.

Disapointed about Davey

Davey'll be right. This year's a rebuilding year for him; no need to play every game. Was great to hear that as I thought he was done.
Bail's interesting - Neeld seemed fairly committed to the kid in comments this week. He's been alright, probably more good performances than bad IMHO. Don't mind seeing him in.

Ro provides something very few of our players have. Genuine pace. An important player going forward.

Gysberts overlooked for Bennell.......today can **** right off!
I'm actually happy with this as the emergencies will most likely travel to Brisbane and therefore not play at all.. much rather Gys to play 2s than not at all, needs the match fitness

Suprised Tappy was straight back in. Didn't think he'd really played that well beforehand to earn the spot without a game at Casey first. Unlucky for Davey though, he did look good on the weekend; albeit against GWS.
Spencil is a big surprise too, don't think he'll play though. Martin should take the FF spot and rotate with Jamar. Sellar should start down back with Riv or maybe even Watts up forward during the game. Thought Bennell was ordinary at VFL level last week too.
