im looking to build a strong team not having honourable losses..we need to concentrate on getting a proper team together not limiting the damage in games..by playing goers who will not take us forward...we need quality except nothing less..or we repeat history

Have to agree to disagree, for mine unless that quality is prepared to put their head over the ball, you're not going to win many games anyway.

None of Thomas Mcdonut Arnot Gordon lloyd will ever be in a premiership team we need to keep turning over the list and recruiting.....these players will never take us forward...Putting them in the team is a short term outlook and gets us nowhere except mediocracy...Hawthorn Sydney Fremantle and the good team would never consider playing them ...either should we ...play the kids if we hav injuries see what they have got to offer...we already know what the others have and that is rubbish...

I think we were forced to play him there due to the Nathan Drummond injury. Hopefully he plays a full game next week as a mid/forward to show why he dominates clearances, when played in the middle in the VFL.

He's always played down back in seniors though. He had a few clearances last night too

Last night ,Don't know if it was coincidence but our backline looked out of whack without Chaplin. First time I've seen Rance beaten for a looong time.

If Griff wasn't injured he shoulda been dropped anyhow...and I reckon Vickery is better than Griff in the ruck - so better support for Ivan.

McDonough disappointing for his first game - but no excuse for Lloyd. Just a poor game.

Hampson for Maric next week..

I agree with these changes. Morris should be dropped on form alone but is protected by his elevation to the "leadership group" - Which is a strange name to give players that last night, displayed no leadership qualities at all.

Hampson should be rewarded with good form. Big Ivan appears to be struggling, and it was noticeable last night when he could have picked up a loose ball, but he looked around for another Tiger to provide the Shepard to. It is a very tall side, with no crumbing forward. I'd leave Lennon on HFF and start using Vlastuin as a midfielder. Morris needs a rocket and should be sent back as a permanent defender. If Maric is fit and remains in the side, then on form, I'd still pick Hampson over Vickery. Give more time for Ivan up forward. Change the dynamics of the side at the clearances in the hope that something positive happens.

I wish they would drop morris but aren't going to happen. Surely Dimma has to at least think about it, when Conca is ready.
Can't see Newman being back after one week. Especially when the injury is back related.

Morris needs to be dropped, whats he got over hardwick, ( can someone check morris boots , has he got the right stops in, he always goes to ground) he is just predictable , he loses his footing all the time. I get on edge whenever its near him on the backline because its always going to be a goal against us.

Stops don't make a difference when you elect to go to ground....
