Petrie, goes without saying.
Anthony, was actually suprised he was still on our list.
Jacobs, no wonder Port Power got rid of him.
MacMillan, typical private school footballer.
Harper, too much hype, will only ever be a half forward.
Atley, gotten ahead of himself, too many soft efforts.
Wright, did nothing today, has stagnated badly under Scott, needs a new environment, ie trade bait.
Grima, not a key defender, struggled without Petrie down back today, Brad Scott has destroyed another career.
Please add your own, I will probably add to the list as the night goes on.

Huge game next week against the cats and their were a few insipid efforts out there today.

My changes would be:

outs: Wright, McMillan

ins: Hine, Greenwood

Need some accountability and Wright/McMillan were the most unaccountable of the lot today. McMillan also burnt us with his use of the footy. Both McMillan and Wright, get pushed off the contest too easily so I want to bring in a few that have hardened bodies that can stick a tackle.

Jacobs is lucky it is his first game, but he would want to pull his finger out. Would much prefer to see him develop his body, endurance and strength in the VFL.

We had lots of passengers and we still had a chance of stealing the game in the last qtr.

We missed Boomer. Has anyone actually explained his 6 game brain fade in the Elim Final against WCE?

I thought we were outcoached in the 3rd. we lacked run and I personally thought Adams was our biggest disappointment today.

I'm not going to neck myself. Apart from Mullett I only saw some incremental improvement. I didn't see game changing stuff.

On to next week.

Severely lacking polish and quality ball use, we will never be able to move up the ladder until its addressed. I think LA, Gibson and Macmillan try, but their ball use is just not AFL standard, I think Jmac is young enough to work on it, but the other two will not play in a top 4 AFL side.

OUT: MacMillan, Mullett
IN: McMahon, Hine

Can we pick Ben Ross ahead of Anthony, Gibson and Jacobs?

We couldn't hit a pass going forward and people want to bring in Levi? We had no problem winning the footy. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sierakowski come in for one of our many outside hacks who can't kick.

Petrie has to go too.

Said it in another thread, but LA & Gibson will NOT play in a top 4 side together, they do not have the ball use and composure acceptable at that level.

I'd be dropping Macmillan, he definitely needs a rocket up his ass, but Brad has been on his pole since he was picked up so I see it being highly unlikely.

Would like to see Hine given a crack, and I think Majak should definitely play, if any excuse, that performance is it.

We definitely lack polish and class, which won't change regardless if our hearts are in the right place as far as effort goes heading forward. We need the talent and its not like we don't have it because Atley and Harper to name a couple, have the line breaking speed and skills we crave, they just have other big issues that prevent them from becoming the players we all know they can be.

I want to bring in Levi so we can stick a ****ing tackle and have a bit of accountability.

Harper would want to find the footy next week while the key forwards get a reprieve from the mids average kicking.

Gysberts isn't the answer here, we need a few big bodies that can stick a few tackles. Too many players bumped off the footy too easily.

Why don't our recruits put on weight like Collingwood recruits, even their small blokes like Elliot have considerable size compared to blokes like McMillan and Wright.

No way would I drop Mullett. I thought he showed some good things today and offers us something good behind the ball.

He can play Mullett, and I was happy with his defensive efforts, but his kicking is sloppy and he gets knocked off the footy too easily.

Needs to be locked in the gym. Men win football matches, and he is still just a kid.

This. His attack on the ball was great today. Killed off a few forward entries and read it well. Went up a notch in my estimation.
