Opinion Changes Vs Geelong

Yeah I am surprised about people wanting Mullett out, at least he had a go. There are many more before him like the over hyped Sam Wright, Keiran Harper was woeful today and Shaun Atley needs a rocket as well.
Seriously I know the Pies had players out but they should have won by 10 goals on the performance we put up today.
There were only a couple of blokes who could even put their hand out for their pay - Swallow and Ziebull and Lindsay up until the time he hit Reid, he got rattled although it was a great bump

OUT: Jacobs Mullet MacMillan
IN: McMahon Greenwood Hine whoever has a heart

B: McMahon Thompson Firrito
HB: Hine Grima Atley
C: Wells Ziebell Cunnington
HF: Adams Hansen Harper
F: Thomas Petrie Tarrant
R: Goldstein Swallow Bastinac
I: Gibson Cunnington Greenwood Anthony
Go play Geelong.

Can I ask why people are dropping Anthony? His run early on in the year is vital particularly at Etihad.
If it was September Id understand but we need to ****ing get there first and that means running out games now.
God people make calls with no merit.

OUT: Jacobs MacMillan Anthony

I: Gibson Wright Gysberts Mullet

Bit left field but i'm sick of seeing Thompson playing on monsters and I want Tarrant to move back and see how he performs on Hawkins. This would allow Daw to come in and play forward and give Goldy a chop out in the ruck.
Gysberts to replace Anthony,
Macmillan not sure where he's at, still shaking my head at the contract extension.

Agree with whoever it was who said Gys isn't the answer. I'm not interested in one of Levi's 5 possession, 8 tackle games either.

I really want to see Hine in the side. Don't care if he plays in the backline or as a midfield tagger.

Said it in another thread, but LA & Gibson will NOT play in a top 4 side together, they do not have the ball use and composure acceptable at that level.

I'd be dropping Macmillan, he definitely needs a rocket up his arse, but Brad has been on his pole since he was picked up so I see it being highly unlikely.

Would like to see Hine given a crack, and I think Majak should definitely play, if any excuse, that performance is it.
agree with all this

Because nothing has changed since last year. He can still run and get the ball. Still doesn't use it well, still won't chase or tackle.
Jacko when he was subbed on the game changed. our running game worked.
If this was a final I wouldnt want to see LA there at all but at Etihad in round 1 he prospers.
He starts next week against the Cats for mine.
Today we couldnt even clear our fifty?!
Rather we get long to our forwards then concede what was it, 13 goals from turnovers. Dear god.

OUT: Jacobs, MacMillan
IN: Hine, McMahon

On Jacobs - Rubbish disposal is one thing but pissweak tackling and marking attempts are unacceptable.

Scott needs a new lovechild - JMac is very ordinary.

Harper demoted to sub next week. Wright very lucky.

The frustrating thing is the B&F results accurately reflect his shitness yet he continues to hold his spot.

I'd suggest that was because we started to run more & Pies started to tire, not because LA was the catalyst.

I put him in the same category as Pedersen, Cruize, Azza & Campbell : we've seen what he can offer, and he isn't going to take us all the way.

I thought there were at least 10 blokes worse than Sam Wright today. Didn't get much of the footy but kept Macaffer well and truly out of the game. What exactly did he do that was so bad?

Jacobs, Macmillan, Tarrant, Petrie, Wright were all bad but what the hell was wrong with Adams, shocking performance.

In: McMahon, Hine
Out: Mullett, Jacobs

McMahon automatic inclusion. Hine must come in after his game yesterday.

Jacobs will be fine, but he's not ready yet. Shouldn't have been rushed in like that.

This will sound harsh, but I thought Aaron Mullett was one of the main reasons we couldn't get out to a decent lead when we were playing okay early. I am absolutely gobsmacked that there are posters on here in other threads praising his kicking. It was up there with Bastinac vs Richmond as one of the worst kicking displays by a player in recent memory. Had a couple of redeeming moments in the second half.

thats because he was getting around the back fifty, the wings helping out. the bloke has a shit kick and is soft at times but i cant faulter his effort to run. And we missed that in an open free flowing game.

a sub is someone who can make an impact. bad choice with harper.

So people want Wright dropped because he has poor skills? Righto.

After a loss no one can kick or handball.

After a win we can handball through brick walls.

In: McMahon, Hine
Out: Jacobs, Thomas

Wright and Harper survive as we will have to somehow replace LT.

Adams, McMillan, Atley, Tarrant, Gibson get rockets.
