Yeah it will be interesting to see if in the next few weeks Howard has game time up forward then we'll know the club's process on his injury. However he's very good down back. It's the best he's played in a position and he's played well up forward too. His injury was a set back for him and our future.

We need to bring in Howard or Frampton ready or not. If we lose Ryder through a game we are in deep shit, yeah Trengove can ruck but not to advantage like Ryder. When Ryder was not in ruck against the Cats they got their game going. I go back to the GWS game when Ryder was suspended, Trengove battle hard for 3 quarters and eventually ran out of steam and could not get off the ground to make a contest and we all know the result in the last quarter. Stop flirting with danger ken or you will get what you deserve at seasons end.

I said at the start of the season Trengove being a bits and pieces player with no real position to excel at will be a problem for us this year and I haven't seen anything to suggest any different. Either he is a forward or a backman, give him a position and then drop him if he isn't the best option for that position. We need a better option for forward/pinch hitting ruckman, he has 9 goals but 6 came in Brisbane/Carlton games, most when we were already 10 goals up.

Personally I think he should be played as a backman and left there, with Jonas playing as medium/small back. Dixon/Westhoff/whoever replaces Trengove forward can help ruck. Only problem is Ken would have to drop one of Broadbent/Hartlett/Pittard to do it and we know he wont.

No, but we are powering toward another ho-hum year of underachievement with a list of core players that has seriously regressed and a possibility of missing finals due to us losing all the games we need to win. It's all good to win the easy ones, but otherwise I don't trust us at all to get the job done. We've taken zero scalps since 2015 (maybe outside the second Hawks game). It's not good enough.

If we won this game we'd be 4th, if we also won the West Coast game we'd be 1st with a massive percentage gap between 1st and 2nd and a game in hand.

We sit 6th (guaranteed 8th at the end of the round). With one of WB and St Kilda to jump us along with one of Essendon and Richmond to jump us.

We should be 1st or at worst 4th but we are 8th. That isn't good enough and coaches in other sports have been sacked by that kind negligence.

Yeah and I can understand the thinking here, but having seen them at Adelaide Oval this year i'm confident there is a much stronger will this year.

Could very well be the difference between playing finals or not - Or more realistically a home final/double chance or having to play an elimination final in Perth.

Westhoff stays JUST. We really don't have anyone else who can play his role. If we replace him with a runner we lack an outlet marker to get out of D50. If we replacr him with a tall we lose too much run.

I can honestly say I don't care what Hinkley or this side does anymore. Wingard dropping out of the side because of "signalling" (meaning he could have easily played if required) and playing Aaron Young in an 8 point game just shows exactly where these campaigners see this list. They don't think it's good enough, so why should I?
