One person I was hoping would get dropped.

If you to describe our club over the past 3 seasons in one player, he is it.

Edit: watch him have the game of his life this week, that's our Westhoff:drunk:
You know he'll kick 3 goals.

One from 70 out on the boundary
One from the behind post at Riverstank end off the ground from the top of the left behind post
One from the fourth line of text down the old scoreboard

But kick out on the full 8m straight in front

And along the way he'll take two marks of the year, both times he'll turn it over straight after.

There are no losers at St. Port Adelaide's. Everybody is very talented and everybody is a valuable contributor.

Eddy is not afl standard and the game may have passed monfries. Happy to give them a run against a bottom side but that's a risk.

Aidyn Johnson might be a better choice
We got players that played last week that are not AFL standard. Need to start picking on form and forget the man love.

Yep hinkley confirmed on radio. Says our team has been consistent this year as well hahahaha

We have been consistent but that includes consistently not quite being good enough against the best teams. We need to improve to be a genuine top 4 chance. If we continue being this consistent we will be midtable again.

Given the 5 day break I'm not surprised we're unchanged but win, lose or draw, I think we need to start trying to find where our improvement will come from and that is most likely at the selection table.

I would've liked to see Gus +- Eddy in, but can see the logic in going in unchanged.
Not as meltworthy as being made out to be here; I suspect there's a lot of persisting anger from last week.

Interesting to hear that Ken has taken aside at least Hartlett and Amon and put them on notice. Will be keen to see how they respond.

Unless Eddy eg copped an injury, I can't see how a 5 day break would effect him greatly.

I can understand a midfielder, who is in the heat of the kitchen constantly, needing more recovery time, but in the sanfl a key forward should cover much less ground, and therefore have time to take at least some sort of a break while they are waiting for the ball to come into their vicinity.
I believe he would be fine to play Thurs night, but I will still be very surprised if he is picked.

Wingard to Young: "The plaque for the alternates is down in the ladies room."

I feel like Ken's one step away from giving the players participation medals at the end of the season.

Fk. There is a few of us overreacting here. Gus has been solid since coming back but a month in the SANFL won't be a bad thing.

Eddy obviously not up to the required level in terms of fitness and defensive stuff...

I'm happy enough with no change

When you have a pretty solid performance and noone is out and out putrid, there are no omissions. Thats just the way it is.

No one is busting the door down.

Monfries is at the very tail end of his career and at this stage is a 'break glass in case of emergency' player.

The melts are funny this week. No injuries, a bees dick off beating a top 4 side away from home. No one was getting dropped ffs.

Doesn't matter that we nearly won. We would have won comfortably if a few of the now serial non-performers did anything that resembled AFL standard footy against decent quality and that's why we are average. We reward, even praise our averageness.

Hinkley is drunk. He's just ditchin' up hail marys and hoping.
