They've stuffed 2 non-forwards into the forward line, and Lecrap crappy shit waste of space & cooked Lecras. I really want them to restructure but I'm so happy Priddis got DROPPED (as if he runs fast enough to strain his quad!!!!!) and that they're playing for our future now. But would've like Lecras GONE and Karpany in his spot guaranteed. All about the bench I guess.... *hoping for late Lecras out (Quad strain)*

Brisbane have arguably the worst key forwards in the comp (2 of them are very young, so while talented don't regularly perform yet) and Hipwood goes out and we bring Mackenzie in. Wut?

Duggan, Sheed, Nelson, Karpany, Partington, Hutchings, Barass is not too bad an amount of youth to be playing - and I think every one of those names has shown us something so if they track right and keep improving they could all potentially stay in the 22 moving forward.
I didn't include Cole as I don't think he's shown as much as the others yet.
Many of you may feel Hutchings hasn't shown enough but I think he has proved to be an adept tagger.

With Rioli and Venables expected to make debuts next year, and Yeo (23), McGov (25) and Darling (25) still quite young, I think the future is not as bleak as I had thought at times this season.

Hopefully we get a few more years out of NicNat, JK and Shuey before they start to drop off. Those 3 will be seriously hard to replace.

Sorry to nitpick but Hutchings is 26 this year - the same age as Sheppard and one year younger than Shuey/Redden/NN.

The age of the squad is definitely skewed by a few specific players that we seem to no longer rely on (with the exception of Kennedy and to a lesser extent Mitchell). I guess the concern is with the midfield in particular in that there's an apparent lack of talent pushing up. Partington looks okay, and there's the very promising Venables who is injured, but other than that it remains an area we need to focus on.

After Pritchell the on-ball division should consist of Shuey, Yeo, Sheed, Redden, Gaff and Venables. That list probably needs two top-line talents added to it. Duggan should become a rotation in time but there is every chance he settles as a rebounding defender/wingman.

Just to clarify, after the week that was, the club has dropped no one as yet and anyone who does get dropped, based on the bench, will be either Duggan, Cole or Nelson.

That's the clubs response to a display that brought embarrassment and ridicule from all quarters, even internally? No one warranted omission? Except maybe a kid or two?
