That would make sense if Chinese government monies are involved. I dont think they are unless someone has pulled off a massive coup. The club has made it clear we are talking to private individuals and organisations which means part of what you wrote could happen but not all IMO.I come in peace again. I love cryptic clues so having a punt on what your announcement could be.
A few weeks ago I heard on BBC world that the Chinese Government is concerned about smog affecting its ability to train athletes. particularly affecting its Olympic program.
My guess is that you guys will have a joint venture with the Chinese government, Port and UniSA to have a new training facility built, at the city site around Port road rumoured a while ago.
- You guys get a new training facility near the current City West site of Unisa. But keep The Port Club and Magpies play at Alberton. Plus invovlement in a globally elite sports science program.
- Chinese Government have a training facility they can send elite Olympic athletes to without smog issues.
- UniSA expand upon their work in the Sports science field. Have access to an elite facility near their City West Campus.
Its only high end, low volume and high priced goods that they would be interested in the manufacturing field. They are interested in what Australia has a comparative advantage in, cheap land, agriculture, fisheries, food production, real estate, vertically integrated tourism projects and some services ie educational and professional services.

Mmm..so possibly a Renault connection?
Whatever it is, we will be prepared for massive knockers. Those who will try to hide their jealousy and envy under veiled comments and articles utilised to denigrate us. Our club has shown foresight and incredible energy and effort and if the initiative has a good outcome I am assuming it could potentially help the AFL and our State in some way too. It's a bit like us leading the way to Adelaide Oval. Remember, fellow Port supporters: WE CAN, BECAUSE THEY THINK WE CANT.
Whatever it is, we will be prepared for massive knockers..
Personally I think there's probably some Renault tie-in here, considering they are already a major sponsor. But who the F knows.
I rang the club this morning to see if they were selling any through the Port Store and was told we are wearing it two more times this year. I would have thought only Geelong game.will port wear the same guernseys again for the Geelong game? Seeing as thats being shown in China to?
Close....Direct Flights to Adelaide oval perhaps

Wonder how that fits with our Renault deal though?I hope Geoffa is correct, that would be fantastic!!
Can't see it happening though.
Second prize would be a re-tooling of Holden and a long term sponsorship deal connected to it. Would be great for the region.
I always thought 1 Port Road was the address of the fish rapist.
Unfortunately true, somebody would have blabbed by now.The more I think about it seems unlikely to involve key/well known SA infrastructure. Sole reason for my logic being Adelaide's too smaller town and if someone around the Port/Holden factory/1 Port Road got word about this something would have leaked out?
The UK car industry is based on making high end components and using years of experience in doing so. It could be the future for us too.Wonder how that fits with our Renault deal though?
He wasn't sure about the auction option , thought it might happen at the end of the year.ah right! maybe they meant twice this year and not twice more?
You didnt happen to ask if they would be auctioning the worn ones off?
This is likely because they said there is potential for another live game some time later in the year, following the Geelong one.I rang the club this morning to see if they were selling any through the Port Store and was told we are wearing it two more times this year. I would have thought only Geelong game.
