Egan played 27 games and booted 22 goals in four seasons with the Magpies after being recruited from the Murray Bushrangers with the 10th overall pick in the 2004 draft. Got delisted by the Magpies on Tuesday.
I watched a few games this kid has played. His only 21 a half forward/wingman type of player. Is agile and quick. Might be a look at for the Crows?

Softest footballer playing the game...

LOL for Chris Knights....I wouldn't even trade my fingernails for Egan he is the absolute opposite of what I deem an AFL footballer. Has no heart no soul no matter what skills he brings to the table. Sorry, move along those sort are not welcome at the crows.

Trade you for Chris Knights. :thumbsu:
Typical Collingwood brain. What makes you think you are able to trade a player that you have delisted!! Clever clubs keep those they think they can trade and then delist if no interest. Those delisted have to be a bit questionable in something...ability,form, age, etc.

Think he might have been joking;)

Played the softest, laziest most witches-hat-esque game I have ever seen from an AFL player earlier this year. That was his last game for Collingwood and should be his last AFL game. I'll lead the charge to West Lakes, pitchforks in hand if we draft him.

Of course they can trade players they've announced as being delisted, you'd just be insane to give anything up for them. All a delisting announcement really means is that the player won't be given a new contract once their existing contract expires. Announcing a delisting does not cause the contract to terminate early.

Players remain on the list until the clubs lodge their lists on October 31st, 3 weeks after trade week finishes. As such, they are eligible for trading, but why would you trade for a player you knew you'd be able to pick up for free in the ND or PSD?
