Johnson named emergency...hmmm, maybe Wakes will be left out. Last week Malthouse indicated his policy on late changes pretty much, saying 24 should be named and choose on the night. He would then take Jimmy out and put Wakes in last week, and he may do the same Saturday.

I'd assume this means that opens up the likes of Johno(most likely), Dids(maybe), and Bucks (longshot) for the Wednesday game. Don't care what Essendon says, but playing Hird for both games, without some sort of severe resting ingame, would be detrement to his performance, on what will be his final Anzac Day.

I think Johnson will come in, if he is fit he will play, possible outs would be Dick, Toovey, Licuria, Davis, depending on how Mick goes but he will play and thats why they have named him as emergency.

Last time we played Port I think we went in with just the 1 Ruckman possible Mick will drop Richards for Bryan and allow Bryan to roam forward and back a bit more, also drop Richards and Bryan all together and bring in Jono.
