Hopefully Simmonds and browny will be back. We NNEEEEEEEEEED to win this game, especially with the eagles and bulldogs coming up.
Our ruck has let us down big time in the last few games.
Come on tiges!!!

if we lose to the scum we could be looking at 0-5 five rounds in. i hate to say it but if that happens you might be right.
Agree Darth.
The scum are playing alright in the west at the moment.
We are no position to be penciling in wins aginst anybody FFS.

They are pushing the Weagles just like we pushed the Swans...big win if the keep going the way they are. Will have alot of confidence coming in.

Down south west of Melb, in 25 years time, the whole forward line could be Abletts, all kicking bags of 5-6 every week!!

if we get into em early with a good game plan we should win by 39 points.
season over if we lose....

Yes if we lose to the pies it will be just about over and maybe then the footy department will realize we need key position players in the draft.

Agreed we will need ket possie players in the draft and soon ... Gas is nearing the end and Richo ... well maybe notthis year butwe need the key position players this year as we want them ready to do the job ASAP for when the retirements do occur

Geezus you make me sick. $$%k off.

tissue?

the pies arent any worse than us 50/50 game thats for sure

the dogs and eagles you can forget about it

no team does anything special in a season after being 1-4 so as i said SEASON OVER

dont cry

This is a crunch. I honestly think we'll win. We did better yesterday than many will against the Swans who are arguably the most cinsistently effective outfit in the game.

It is huge next week though. Collingwood's first homer and against us will have the magpie army out in forse and we will be there in smaller numbers - they are at home - but hopefully as usual outbarracking them.

STOP writing us off. What if we lose this? What if we lose that? We might end up 0 and 22 or we might reach the top 4. Who knows/

What we do know is that nest week the Tigers are playing their greatest rivals probably before at least 70,000 in what always has the potential to be the noisiest match up of any season so let's get up for it.

Sydney won a premiership after going 2-4 ;)

I think our season is going well. We might have found two defenders in Moore and McGuane. Foley looks to have taken an extra step. Deledio loves HBF and the ability to run and bounce. Polak looks like he could be handy when he gets match-fit.

All of a sudden Polak, McGuane, Moore with Thursfield to come looks like Gaspar is under genuine threat for the first time in a decade.

We have been competitive in both games despite a poor list and missing our best 3 players - and having Pat Bowden half-fit. These were 60+ point losses 3 years ago.

We are competitive depsite Johnson, Richo, J.Bowden and Tuck doing little.

We are getting genuine game time into Pattison.

People may be condeming Schulz for not being Lockett already - but he has played 2 games AT FULL FORWARD FINALLY. Might not have set the world alite but is on pace for a 40-50 goal season. We might not have to use Kingsley if Schulz can deliver.

Newman has come back quite well and might be right to go into the midfield for the second half of the year.

Not bad for 2 rounds.

Good stuff weaver.

Lets look at some positives:
- Both sides we have played have been at almost full strength while we are missing two vital players. If Symo was playing he would have given us probably the edge in the ruck against carlton and would have made us competetive in the ruck against the Swans.

- If Brown had been playing we definatly could have had the extra foward who would have kicked us a winning score in both matches and taken pressure of Schultz and Pettifer and allow them to have kicked more goals

-If both players were playing, we probably would have won both games. Unfortunatly they weren't and with Simmo being only 50/50 this week i can't see him getting up. Browny should though

who gives a **** the season is over

Incorrect. It is round 2 of a 22 week H & A season, plus finals. I thought most people knew this.

But as you say you dont give a ****, then I see no reason why you'd continue posting about the rest of the season.

Seeya next year:thumbsu:

This game will truly show where we're at. Great effort against the swans, but was it a flash in the pan or as supporters can we expect that type of commitment and endeavour week in week out?

Didn't all this happen last year?

Round 1 - We lost (pumped by Doggies) and everyone wrote our year off
Round 2 - Just lose to STK (2-3goals)

EXACT SAME AS THE FIRST 2 ROUNDS IN 2007

yep which is why i want to see how they tackle the pies after a face saving performance yesterday.. No wounded "pride" to fight for, just 2 outside the 8 calibre sides trying to mould their season. If we cant beat the pies, then theres no hope
