Hoggy said:Err, I'd have him.
Surely if you push the immurity aside, he is clearly a best 22 player and would have an effect on our team for the positive.

Re-sign Bo Nixon, then trade him to the Swans for Davisjabso said:Timmy I'm not saying we wouldn't find a spot for him. But we would have to give up a fair bit for him. It would be better spent on a good midfielder, a backman or a ruckman.

All depends on price. He isn’t in demand then the price would be low. If we could get him for, say, Jason Cloke, then fine. If they want a second round pick then the risk isn’t worth it. If we knew he would get and remain focussed and determined it would be a different story. He is very talented but very limp.jabso said:MarkT don't you agree that whatever we use to bring Nick back could be better used on something we need more like a quality midfielder or ruckman?
I doubt Davis will go for a small price, he will be in high demand. As for his midfield ability I have to disagree there.MarkT said:All depends on price. As for what we need he is actually a quality midfielder. He doesn't have the pace we need but he has everything else. Daicos wasn't overly quick either but he was a gun midfielder. Davis, more so than Didak as peiople claim, is like Daicos in terms of his skill set and ability but as I said he is very limp. if we wnat a ruckman we are going to have pay. It's either pay a high price, miss out or punt on Gardiner I think. Again, the Gardiner price depends on demand.
