How many times I've trolled my kids saying "I lied" in the Arnie voice, to something I'd previously said 'maybe' to...I cannot count.

Kids: But Dad, on the way home you said you'd get us Maccas!
Me: I Lied.

Just like Commando, it never gets old.

True story: first time I tried to watch this film on TV the power in the whole town cut out straight after this bit. I didn't get to see it in full until years later.

Haha yup, I enjoy using Arnie quotes. Used "Chill out, dick-wad" on my mum when she was upset with me once, let me tell you it didn't go down too well..... Use the "Dillon, you son of a bitch" when greeting my brother (replacing Dillon with my brother's name) from time to time. For non-Arnie I use "What are you gonna try next? Cheese?" from Predator when I see someone struggling to get rid of/catch a bug/spider etc... Used to use "Get out" line from T-1000 in T2 when dropping people off in my car, but eh, they thought I was being rude until I had to explain it. Used an Arnie soundboard prank on my mum she thought it was hillarious. Tried it on my brother and he had no idea (some Arnie fan!), just said "I think you have the wrong number." :D Good times.

One of my favourites is from Junior, whenever my wife and I are in states of undress, I hit her with a... "does my body disgust you?"

The directors cut is good.
A bit more violent.
The garden shed. You see Matrix chop one of the pissant soldiers arms off, and then he is on the ground grabbing the stump.
Also see another get an axe in the crotch.

Funny how the same guy gets killed multiple times, sometimes they have him with a beard.

It's kind of funny how the "directors cut" (merely a few extra seconds of violence) is how the movie WAS in the 80's. But it got censored through "re-releases". I'm glad they gave us the original version once again about 10ish years ago with the "special edition" release (although it's harder to find these days. I think only the censored version is out on blu-ray... at least in Australia).
 
Maybe its me but it seems that Vernon Wells may have ad libed some of his lines.
Sounds too Aussie for a Yank release.
No thanks ill give that a pass.
