Commentators have a dig at Rucci

One of the commentators (Michael Christian?) on the Channel 9 coverage of the Port v Roos game asked at the end of the 3rd quarter...'how are you going to write this one up tomorrow morning, Michelangelo Rucci?'.

Hahhahaha....clearly his bias is legendary in the media world!

Think it was Clinton Grybas, I was watching Geelong-Melbourne but changed over and heard that....Christian works for 10.

Yeah it was Grybas. Obviously Michaelangelo has become a favourite of his since Carey's comment.

For what its worth, that was a fox footy produced game.

Don't know but I doubt he'll say the game was 'most revealing'. He only uses the word 'revealing' for things he despises.

The word "insipid" should be substituted for "revealing"

The only thing that matters is the scoreboard.

On CG he's the man. He's made some funny comments about KG and Cornsey before as well.

And his comment during the third quarter

'If anyone is wondering what the upcoming Australia v Zimbabwe test series will be like, heres a taste of it.'

Clinton in my opinion is the second best commentator going around (behind Commetti). He has a very good voice for commentating and unlike other commentators he doesn't have to manufacture excitement with the tone of his voice (ala Eddie and Michael Christian).

One of the main advantages of having Fox Footy is the Sunday Commentary team of CG, Heals and Schwatta, none are boring and all are insighful. Add to that the digital capabilities of the Sunday match and you have a winning combination.

Clinton has a good point..........what will Michelangelo say tomorrow? hahaha

It was beautiful to watch - only thing is the Kangas let them get a couple of late goals to make the score look a little better - personally I was praying for a 100 point drubbing.

Yes so was I pity they only lost by 92 Mr Rucci will still probably apply the blow torch to the AFC somehow he always does it

I forgot to mention that Rucci used the word "insipid" in his description of Port's game yesterday.

That was one of the first things I noticed. On 5AA he said he simply missed it from the list - what was the odds of that happening??
