Jay Koehler - 24 August 1989, 192cm 93kg. NSW/ACT Rams/Murray Bushrangers

"Recruiter 1: Koehler is a Murray Bushrangers kid with nice size and speed, but his kicking isn't good enough at the moment."

Tim McIntyre - 9 April 1989, 177cm 74kg. NSW/ACT Rams/Murray Bushrangers

"Recruiter 1: Tim is a good player, but he is small and he's going to have to get a lot of the footy to be recognised. He kicked three goals in the first 35 minutes of the game, but then he didn't do a lot after that."

Phil Smith (HBF) - 15 April 1989, 187cm 73kg. Tullamarine

"Weaver: Smith is your classical Kris Massie style 'modern' 3rd defender. He plays tight, he has a nice leap and spoil which lets him play taller than listed. He also has a winger pedigree so once the ball has spilled to the deck he can get involved in clearing the 50 and turning defence into attack. Overshadowed a tad by teammates in a deep Calder outfit. Needs a good finals campaign and needs to be evern more prominent rebounding. More midfield work won't hurt either."

Daniel Brittain (Centre) - 7 May 1989, 178cm 77kg. Queensland/Southport

"Weaver: I saw him play a very good early season game than go largely missing before recapturing close to his best stuff in the last Champ game. Every hard-at-it inside guy with any pigment in their skin seems to be compared to flavour-of-the-month Daniel Kerr.

Wouldn't go that far but he does motor around, does get the ball from stoppages and does get the ball going forward. Like Kerr he is also quite happy getting back to help the defence and sneaking forward to mix it up front. Good aggression. Will need some more sustained form but might nudge into a sleeper candidate."

Kris Nye - 25 November 1989, 174cm 73kg. Eastern Rangers

"ant555: Kris Nye - Broke his leg at the wrong time but sides could do a lot worse than look at him as a rookie pick . He was the spark in the Rangers side before he went down with the side playing good footy and being the engine room man that got things going.

He can run pretty much all day and knows where to go on the field to find the footy. He isnt overly quick and his foot skils are ok rather than outstanding. Bring his team mates into the game well. He likes to work forward and kick a goal. In the Metro trail game he was ok when he was in the midfield but didnt do a lot when resting at half forward."

"ant555: Kris Nye-174cm, 73kg- Eastern Rangers. Kris just missed selection for Vic Metro but has had outstanding form in the TAC Cup. He is out for the season now with a broken leg. Before his injury he was close to being the heart or the Rangers side. Hard running in and under rover who you can throw in the middle and he will get you back in the game.

His pace is only average but is one of those players who knows how to get in space or move through traffic. His skills are ok but not silky smooth. It doesn’t stop him from hitting targets though. Good hands in close. The fact that he has been disappointing as a small forward probably cost him a spot for Vic Metro with the nod going to Potts."

Mitch Enright - 8 February 1989, 179cm 74kg. Queensland/Mt Gravatt

"Recruiter 1: Mitch Enright played well on the wing, although he didn't enter the championships with much of a reputation. He won plenty of footy, but didn't hurt the opposition with his disposal. Still, at least he put his name forward, as he can find the footy – he's just got to do more with it."

"Quigley: Enright - DOB 8/2/89 Ht 179 Wt 74 – got a fair bit of the ball and a goal but poor disposal and option taking let him and the team down."

Mitchell Colvin - 4 January 1989, 192cm 85kg. NSW/ACT Rams/Wagga

"Recruiter 1: Mitchell shows a bit at times, although he tends to drift in and out of games. He does have good hand skills."

"Quigley: Colvin - DOB 04/01/89 Ht 192 Wt 85 – played KPD and did some nice things taking some good marks and also showing good judgement about when to punch. Worth another look given he has KP height."

Brad Jones - 30 March 1989, 184cm 75kg. Eastern Rangers

"ant555: Brad Jones - Runs all day and knows how to find the footy . His kicking can be a bit hit and miss and often he tries to do more by foot than his ability allows. Isnt a really long kick but is effective if he sticks within his limits. Isnt overly quick but does get through traffic reasonably well."

"Quigley: Jones – DOB 30/3/89 Ht 184 Wt 75 – did some nice things in the attacking half getting a goal and setting up another."

"ant555: Brad Jones-181cm, 76kg-Eastern Rangers. Didn’t do a lot during the champs but has had sparkling form for Rangers during the year. He is a running machine who gets in and under and brings team mates into the game.

Sometimes his kicking is a bit hit and miss usually when he tries to exceed his limitations. Good leader who can tackle and run forward and kick goals. Wins plenty of the footy."

Luke Potts - 25 February 1989, 177cm 68kg. Vic Metro/Dandenong/Pines

"Matt Burgan: Lightly built, the small forward reveled in the wet conditions, booting four goals – the best effort by any division one player on Friday. He sent the ball inside 50 on seven occasions and finished with 18 possessions in an impressive display."

"Alan McConnell: Potts booted four goals and was impressive."

"ant555: Luke Potts-177cm, 68kg-Dandenong Stingrays. Luke had a good time at the champs particularly as a small forward. There isn’t much off him but he can find the footy.

In the few Dandenong games I have seen him play he tends to play behind the ball a lot gathering possessions and feeding it out well. His pace is ok but not super quick. Can play as a small forward and crumbs well. Wet weather skills where good during the champs."

Shane Rogerson - 12 January 1989, 192cm 70kg. Queensland/Zillmere

"Recruiter 1: Rogerson is predominantly a backman, but he struggled up forward early, before he went down back. It was good to see him play in another position, regardless of whether they won or lost."

"Recruiter 2: Rogerson was very disappointing. He was very good in the trial games and even when he went down back he lacked a bit of pace."

"Quigley: Rogerson – DOB 12/1/89 Ht 192 Wt 70 – took a few good marks at the back. Good height but a bit light atm."

Matthew Davis - 2 October 1989, 187cm 74kg. Queensland/Mt Gravatt

"Recruiter 1: Mathew Davis was very impressive. He played half-forward/wing and played particularly well across the whole match."

"Recruiter 2: Davis is a nice balanced player. He's got good pace and is a good decision- maker. He is developing nicely."

"Quigley: Davis – DOB 2/10/89 Ht 187 Wt 74 – plays big but need to improve skills."

"ant555: Matthew Davis-187cm, 74kg-Mt Gravatt QLD. Tallish winger that has good pace and skills. In the two games I saw him play he used the footy well and got a reasonable amount of it."

Casey Carr - 6 January 1989, 184cm 79kg. SA/Port Magpies/United Yeelanna

"Recruiter 1: He's a genuine half-forward flanker who has the ability to play through the midfield. While his natural style is to play outside the contest, he does show some willingness to work inside the corridor on occasions. I am sure that he is a player that will be followed by clubs during the championships."

"Recruiter 2: Casey Carr was a player that I didn’t know a lot about but who impressed me at various times during this match. He is a good size and appears to be quite versatile."

Matthew Wright - 14 December 1989, 176cm 75kg. SA/North Adelaide/Walkerville

"Recruiter 1: There is not a lot of Matthew Wright in terms of size, but he extracts the best out of himself. There are always a number of ‘smalls’ who play well in these championships and he was one of them. He was busy around goal and used the ball nicely."

"Recruiter 2: A real surprise packet in this match. He was particularly dangerous around goals and showed real poise under pressure."

"Thunderstruck: He may be 177cm but is a class act, great around goals and strong thru the middle if needed. Good finisher. Stokes has proved that talent can still make it despite size."

Peter Rolfe - 10 May 1989, 181cm 73kg. Federals

"AFL Insider:
AFL Positions:
Rolfe is probably put into a forward line. He is very effective around goals, looking for the right player to pass to or kicking the goal himself. He is an accurate kick for goal and can score from the more difficult angles.

Perfect Fit For:
The Swans need a few smaller options around their forward line, so Rolfe could be someone that Sydney look at. They have given Phillips a small look, but don't have many other young prospects to take a small forward role. There would be a spot on Sydney's list for someone like Peter Rolfe.

**********.net prediction:
The Saints have the big forwards but their small forwards are not very reliable, and often make the wrong decisions. They could use their last pick of the draft on Rolfe and might come away with a bargain.

AFL Fantasy Outlook:
He has skills and is also good overhead, for his size, so the ability is there, but next season the playing time probably isn't there."

"Quigley: Played a pretty good game and got better the further along it went. He played up forward and picked up 3 goals with at least two of them being from outside the 40. He has a long flat left foot kick that he delivers well hitting targets up to 45 – 50 metres. He is a good read off hands and shows good awareness of those around him. He played some in the middle later in the game and won his share of the ball. With a couple of more good games there is a chance that he could be drafted."

Luke Sampey (Key Fwd) - 23 May 1989, 191cm 91kg. WA/East Perth

"Weaver: 191cm pure lead-mark forward. Kicking for goal is questionable and he tends not to do enough once the ball has spilt off hands. Dare I say it but the Kent Kingsley comparisons are hard to ignore. Clubs seem reluctant to invest in pure FFs so he will want to show more versatility going forward. With the amount of footy WA had he should have shone - and didn't."

"Ant555: Luke Sampey-191cm, 91kg-East Perth. (FWD). Not overly tall for KP but did well playing FF for WA during the champs. Leads up well and can take a decent mark. Goal kicking is a bit 50/50."

Yeah that looks pretty right for me, don't know about Dangerfield though. Havn't really heard much of him. I don't really care about the PSD, they usually turn out crap anyway.

Anyway, top job for the guy puting all this together, just one last thing........ as-if-you-could-be-bothered.... lol.

Must of taken you forever.
