FFS , I am so sick of fowrards who cannot take a ****ING MARK. It has cost us the game against port as well as a number of other games this season. Why not give Walker a go, he can't possible do any worse!!

Port picked a bloke with an eating disorder last year and he kicked his fair share.. hasn't been as prolific this year but still... Walker is more of a man than he is.

Symes was one of our better players today. Massie was serviceable as well.
McLeod and Johncock both had far worse games, especially McLeod, everything he did resulted in a turnover.

How he wasn't in the side this week is beyond me. They are clearly holding back to teach him some sort of lesson. Well I think that lesson could have just about cost a game of football today.

**** me we looked as slow as crap today. We got burnt off way way too easily in the midfield when the ball was free. We had a bunch of plodders playing compared to Port. No pace at all. When we did have the ball its bomb it long hope for the best. No target to aim at. Sure the conditions we bad but please look up before you kick. Bring in Walker. He's F-ing ready. Play the kids as we aren't going anywhere with this lot. I doubt we'll even beat Freo if we played them next week.

We've got a few players who are treading water; decent players, who deserve a bit of loyalty, but are probably in a position where they need to become depth players, and have some youngsters come in at their expense.
Stevens, Massie for a start, probably throw Jericho in the mix. Potentially Campbell, but I'd give him the rest of the year to prove whether he can make it or not.
Shirley and Doughty are playing extremely well this year, and definitely deserve their spot in the side, but they're going to have to continue to play at a high level to demand a spot.
None of the above are bad players by any stretch, but if Stevens if keeping say Hentschel out, and Jericho is keeping Walker out, that we probably need to make the decision to treat them as plan B, not plan A.

Doughty could in line for a B & F season. Shirley has been doing an OK taggers job, but simply is not damaging enough the other way. He has shown he can do it, the last few games of the last year was the best form of his career. Had over 30 touches a couple of times.

You should bring Taylor Walker into your team but why rush it. Ease him into AFL football with a game against Carlton or Richmond at AAMI Stadium. Sending him all the way to Sydney would not be a good idea in my opinion.

It surely must be the time for Walker
Jericho was fairly useless today but no way could you put Symes in that category. He played one of his best games for the club IMO.

bloody hell that was a frustrating game to watch. However Goody did allright.
But what have we got to lose by playing Walker? We got quite a few players that are useless at the moment. Jericho was useless, campbell is useless, stevens did ok. The only exception is macca coming back from knee surgery. So i don't understand if craigy dosen't pick walker for next week.

Good point ....aprt from Van Berlo who seemed to run on top of the ground the rest seemed to be plodding.
This caused pressure on disposal and CATB I don't think having Walker would have made much difference ......crap disposal to forwrds gives them very little opportunity.
We need some speed particularly against sides who can now close us down by going one on one
