I'm choosing not to care. If one draft pick potentially being 7-8 spots lower than the other is enough to tank a rebuild, then the rebuild was already ****ed to begin with.
This. It’s going to be insufferable all ****in year

Don't shoot the messenger:

Gossage just said on SEN "Geelong are now the front runners for Harley Reid"

Mick Ablett chimed in with "my mail is Harley will NOT sign another contract at West Coast"

They're front runners for Rowell as well...

Probably TDK as well by round 5

Oh no. Reid spoke to Mitchell and he said no.

Sounds to me like manager spreading misinformation to get the best deal.

Who is next, Richmond? Are people trying to tell me st kilda aren’t having a go?

I reckon this would normally be the case, but do we really believe that this type of tactic would even be necessary?

Harley could write his own cheque and we’d give him exactly what he wanted.

By the end of the season I doubt the Hawks and Carlton picks will be that far apart from each other but yeah the Blues picks are looking like the better ones.
I thought the Hawks would make top 4.
Wasn't so sure about Carlton making the 8.

Long way to go but I think there will be fair gap between the 2.
I hope not.

Blues have some injuries but once they get to full strength they should be playing finals.

lol. That’s assuming he will ask what’s fair.

You’re alluding to Harley’s camp asking for way overs. Way overs for Harley would be 2.1+ per year.

It’s no surprise that the rumours with other clubs coincide perfectly with us putting a deal to him. So that bit definitely checks out.

Maybe it is a negotiating tactic.

I think we have seen enough evidence that just getting guys back on the park doesn’t translate to playing well .

A lot to Carlton players have missed a significant portion of the pre-season.

It’s hard to see Carlton players having a massive spike on their return, granted I don’t think they’ll be as bad as some in here. Could finish 7-11th.
