List Spots Available (39 of 48):
• Main list (33 of 38) - 5* (in: Starcevich, Young out: Allen, Ryan, Chesser, Hunt, Petruccelle, Jamieson)

After typically being being spectators every trade period glad the club is starting to have an impact.
New destination club !

With 3 incoming players likely to get done, it will be interesting to see if we leave it there or continue to shop around.

I just stumbled on this article which floats a few players WCE could look at.
May not be as relevant considering Dev would play a similar role to some of the candidates but be interested to know if any of the DT posters have insight into the different players?

1. J. Fahey (GWS)
2. T. Berry (GCS)
3. J. Voss (VFL)
4. T. Blamires (VFL)
5. Our NGA products

Steele, Graham, the occasional Dev game to protect Harley, Hewett, and hopefully some draftees.

Looks a lot better very quickly in terms of distribution of workload away from Harley, physical protection of him, and a four on one tag of the kid actually hurting the opposition for a change because others can extract the ball and pick up the slack.

Given the Ryan deal is going to be an odd one with the Saints current picks being unfit for one reason or another, there has to be a way to bridge that gap. Really hope they get this one done if his head can be turned west.
Ryan + F3 for Steele + F3?

Edit: Swap our F2 for F3

Crows made the right call to walk

The Tim Kelly conundrum though - without already having won a flag.

A fair few of their key players are right in their prime. If they don’t win a flag in the next 2-3 years they could be in trouble anyway. Usually you cop the 1-2 dud years if it gets you a flag or two in the meantime

Between Toby, Stringer and Oliver the Giants would be well on their way to becoming a team of unlikeable campaigners

But old unlikeable campaigners. Real 'get off my lawn or I'll karate kick you to the face' types.

Maybe if we get a reasonable bump in performance next season, the 'destination club' thing might gather momentum, especially with Harley and surrounding new guns and seniors.

Crows remind me of WCE 2011-2012 atm. Good enough to get to the finals but not quite good enough to get to the summit. Still missing some key pieces.

We dont want Oliver melbourne are trying to offload him as we all know he is the bad apple in the bunch. He is the only reason why so many Melbourne players are wanting to leave.
Melbourne should be paying his whole wages & giving a club a draft pick to get rid of him.
If they had done it earlier maybe some of there players may have stayed around.
Its a shame he is a good player but he may destroy your clubs culture.

I think Blamires goes national draft. So it's either hold a pick that is now in the 30's or miss out imo.

What are you suggesting?

That IF Steele wants to play for us it is a straight swap. They just took the captaincy from him and are telling him to look for another club, his value is not higher than Liam’s. We've said Liam is a required player. It’s a straight swap or Saints can GAGF.

He’ll get to GWS.

On face value, I agree. I don't think the Saints go for that but I had a look at the trade value and our F2 certainly isn't the right pick. A swap of F3's might work.

They tell Steele to look for opportunities that lowers his price
Yeah I hadn't visited l considered how wide the gap was between those picks when I posted that.
