Its easy to criticise.

What would you do. Just draft kids no matter what?

What you are both ignoring is our list has lost a hell of alot of senior experience and we are losing even more.

We only hold a couple of top picks to bring in high talented kids.

Kids need support, we have proved that and so have many other rebuilds.

And these role players being brought in cheap. Every premiership side has them. EVERY premiership side. Its how you build a premiership list.
No, but I would have used our salary cap to over pay for players, not our draft capital and would have pushed a hard line with the PSD. I keep saying it but significant draft capital we should only be using at the draft or to get A/B grade midfielders 24yo and under. The only exception being Darcy Cameron, I think if the PP was given for him the difference he’d have made to our young midfielders having a chance to be proactive rather than reactive would have been huge for their development.

We should have and still be targeting FAs 26yo+ that cost nothing draft wise. I mentioned Walsh, Briggs, Neale, Bailey, McInerney, Knobel, Witts, Reeves and Miller next year.

Should have gone harder salary wise at players like Cumming, Sam Taylor, Perryman, Haynes and one I got wrong at the time English.

Starcevich and Brockman should both be token picks, PSD or not at all.

At our stage of listen development picks are for kid, only later should we be using then to fill list holes. We risk becoming Essendon/Carlton/Saints and god forbid Freo by patching up for years.

Morris reckons Trac to Suns.

Their pick 6 is enough. But then where does that leave them for their academy players?

A player may need to be moved somewhere, either directly to Dees, or via a third party to get more picks or points.

Really glad for the Suns. Finally have A Graders like Petracca and Curnow requesting to go there. no more Lachie Weller and 41 for pick 2.

I suspect the Saints pick 8 for Flanders goes to the Demons along with GCS F1 for Trac and Melbourne’s F2. Scale it back if Melbourne contribute salary.

Let’s get Alex Davies.

Davies is an interesting proposition. If Petracca lands there, he is pushed back in depth. And Lombard and Patterson will be knocking hard.

it has pushed Flanders to want out. Our R2 pick would be well spent getting Alex in, who is a walk up starting genuine midfielder. Packaging up that pick with 17 to get yet another hbf like Lindsay or Farrow versus Alex - a no brainer. Just keep the Hawks R1 and get one of Barker, Dalton or Thredgold

Hey guys, did you hear about Dev, Starc and Young all wanting to come play for us?

im of the opinion that we are going to get screwed again this off season .
I'm of the opinion that this off season is going to be great no matter what happens. We'll get some senior talent in, some high draft picks. Got a new high performance boss from Freo, Mitch Duncan for the back line.

We finally snagged our white whale - sexy sexy Devon. We're going to be flying high in no time.

I would hate to be constantly pissed off about things that haven't happened yet.

Bro, he's no Chad Warner. We don't even know if he can play yet. If he turns into a solid big bodied mid like Jack Redden, it's a massive win. But not one is under any illusion. He might be a bust.

Its not good for Cole and Maric's future in the backline. And wtf do we do with Duggan. I mean I know what i would do with him but club loves Duggan.

Our backline looks pretty good next year except the key backs are inexperienced.

Ginbey - H Edwards - Hough
Starcevich/Baker - Young - Yeo/McCarthy

And rotate McCarthy, Yeo and Baker into the middle occasionally. Wont be able to fit them all in the backline though.

Might be a spot on the bench perhaps for one of Cole/Maric but not good signs for even that.
Pretty obvious duggan and cole should be playing WAFL

Surprised Petracca to the Suns, that Hardwick must be a good salesman.
Curnow will get to Sydney imo.
100% puts Davies out of that midfield and into what should be WC midfield.
Looking forward to the next few days and what happens with all these A grade player movements, someone or 2 B grade mids will likely be shaken loose.

If we get Davies and change for our 2R pivot to Blues pick 10 as part of a bigger Chesser deal (10 for 17, Chesser, change) I’d be inclined to look at Dovaston.

2 mids, Dovaston, Davies, best KPD with Hawks 2R is a nice mix without reaching.

Redden was a gun from day 1 at Brisbane and was never not offered a contract that's for sure Dev is not redden

But their was another 2018 premiership player who was delisted that is much more equivalent and i think would be a better comparison

Well not to be a damp squib, we haven't got senior talent in yet, nor high draft picks, nor Devon or Starcevich. These things haven't happened yet... but I'm not pissed off.
