Agree they will be after a F1 in a perfect world, but how do they get that, Chesser and still have points for Dean and Ison?

Realistically if they want Walker, Dean, Chesser and Ison, they’ll have to sell Curnow.
Curnow will be traded for sure imo, Sydney will get it done.

They have the Silvagni pick they can split for more points, I suspect they’ll trade pick 9 for a F1 and a couple token picks this year - not sure who to yet but someone will pop up.

Yeah. I can foresee a really crappy deal and a cave in from us on the cards. If Saints have gotten all of their other targets then they might be ambivalent about Ryan now and be looking to just put a really shitty deal on the table and tell us take it or leave it and not care if we leave it.
Sorry Ryan, the Saints just F you over. Guess you're here for another year. So sad.

Maybe find another club if you're that desperate.

NWM was also all outside with beautiful skills and pace and he's going allright now playing more midfield.
NWM is a footballer's footballer. I'm not convinced Patterson is.

You can't use one extreme example and go, "see". He could do what NWM is doing. I doubt it, though. NWM is a special player. A lot of outside players just stay on the outside. They play to their strengths. These types of players are almost critical to winning flags in the current era.

You recruit insiders to play inside. You recruit outsiders to play outside. If an outsider turns into an insider, that's fine. But drafting an outsider specifically hoping he turns into an insider (or balanced) is a low percentage play.

Do we potentially ask for Geelong's F1 via St Kilda's Marshall trade with a view of trading it on with Chesser for the TDK pick?

Rookie A-McCarthy, Newton, McCrae, Brock, Robertson, Cripps

Rookie B-Champion, Evans, Walley, Williams

I would say Livingstone is gone, which is a shame and incredibly unlucky for him.
Livo going before Barnett would be an absolute farce. Barentts last two seasons(bar a couple of games) have been an absolute joke.

Steele will be on the move.
Yeah a lot of St Kilda fans were excited that his attitude was to stay and fight for a spot and for midfield time, but you don’t tell a player to explore his opportunities while bringing in a bunch of other highly-paid players unless the goal is for him to leave.

He obviously can stay if he wants to, but with the Flanders news the writing on the wall is crystal clear, that going forward under RTB he will be considered a spare part at best, and more likely just VFL fodder.

I guess that is why GC are shopping Ainsworth around. Bet we will see a few other GC players move this trade period too.
I feel like GC had to overpay a lot of vic players to stay and now with all their local academy talent coming through they can replace those salary cap liabilities with guys who they don't have to over pay to stay .

Undwin× 2 walter lombard Rogers Read jeffery Davies Graham Patterson addnsall and jai Murry ( who also looks a gem ) all these guys should be playing best 22 in the next few years .

Bringing in JUH is very much planing to not match a 1.8million per year king free agency bid .
