Israel are NOT saying they WILL need a 4th booster in a few months time.
They don’t know at this time. At this stage the third booster is very effective.
They would just be being proactive as they were with their initial roll out and preparing themselves, getting ahead of the game, in case.
That’s the data.

As for the vaccines, there are still other types in trial and production.
It might turn out that the mRNA ones, and the viral vector ones are helping us over the first hurdles due to the timeliness of their availability but that other vaccine types or treatments will end the pandemic going forward and might not require boosters.
They are also looking carefully at the spacing of initial vaccine doses for improved immunity.

You seem to be panicking unnecessarily about ‘4 boosters a year’ imo as it is not set in stone.
At this stage it is not.

I said preparing for it. You are misinterpreting what I've said.

The available evidence heads uniformly in that direction. To not prepare for a continuation of that trend would be rationally foolish and politically damaging. Things may not go that way but there is no evidence to support that outcome. There is only wishful thinking.

Similarly your future outlook rests upon no basis other than hope. A different result will need to occur from repeating the same action. You'd be aware of the condition that popularly describes.

This begs the relevant question as to what the vaccine producers initially projected as immunity horizons. Were their initial assurances of efficacy given based upon complacency, wishful thinking or deceit?

Not a grand global conspiracy. Nonethless political and commercial conspiracies occur pervasively and constantly. These might often be euphemism as strategies, but any covert procedure that seeks narrow sectoral or individual outcomes at cost or impact to public equity or well-being can be reasonably termed a conspiracy. Sometimes these 'strategies' conflate into larger realms of converging interest.

Accepting that, why not try to understand all cogent positions on the basis of their presented merits, rather than filtering belief in accordance with official instructions?

The point being that there are already circumstances that certain vaccines are mandated to be employed in certain roles. We're not entering some 'new world order' by having a covid vax mandated for some industries/sectors.

To go back to the crux of the matter that you seem to have missed, Covid mandates are far wider and more restrictive than the relatively minimal ones related to Flu shots. The current extent of the one does not justify the mush larger mandate of the other. It is not valid logic to say it does.

Just a basic effort to understand what I said would plainly indicate the information source was the Government and, by obvious consequence, the conduit was a mainstream news broadcaster. Don't let bog obvious context get in the way of your self amusement.

I'm not, for fu** sake. I don't usually get a flu jab. I got it once because my mum was sick with cancer and I didn't want to risk infecting her during chemo.

THE POINT WAS that it was being argued that getting covid "booster" jabs was somehow unusual, when I'm fact it's standard practice for the flu and has been for decades.

You cannot compare the widely mandated covid jabs and booster to the flu ones.

The first part of your post was a nice conspiracy theory : Some prominent immunologists and virologists are saying otherwise. However their observations and concerns do not get blanket media coverage. Not worthy of a response really.

You did say a global experiment is being conducted with the vaccines. I decided to respond to that. The vaccines are doing their jobs as predicted.
