Look we all understand the social and health issues but something had to be done to try to stop the amount of virus spread and deaths now, not in five years time.

I agree, however the response profile of declared and activated imperatives is not well configured. It will take a 1000 word summary, much of if it reiteration, to usefully expand on that. I can't be f**ked with that right now.

Some headers in place of that:
Early treatment methodologies
Coherent and plausible quarantine and isolation standards.
Address IR barriers obstructing correct staffing and medical leave within Health and Quarantine venues.
Genuinely review rent pressures pivotal to lock down stress.
Openess to all available data
Higher priority toward funding heterodox studies based on demonstrated merits.
Reasoned openess to all heterogenous views on issue assessments and strategies.
Diversify strategies away from a monolithic reliance, at outset and ongoing, upon vaccine development, rather than when that need is imposed by reality.

I had my second jab about a week ago. A day after, my shoulder felt like someone put a .22 bullet in. But went away after a day.

No other side effects. I'm ready to go for concerts and footy, and more importantly hopefully i can help lesson symptoms and protect a few elderly i have around me.

When I grow up, I wanna be just like you, only unvaxed.

This is where you're farking full of sh*t.

There are a lot of doctors in the world. A lot of scientists too. When you pick an outsider position against the balance of probabilities when you have 99% of the experts saying the opposite, you're full of sh*t. The same thing happened with climate change. A few dodgy researches out there and the denialists hone in on those 1% and not the 99%.

Scientists and doctors are for the most part apolitical. The very people that you're advocating we should listen to however are almost exclusively linked to far right trump types. You've decided these people are to be trusted, because you think somehow government, big pharma and the rest have influenced 95% of the globe's health professionals and immunologists.

There's room for a nuanced debate about the efficacy of vaccines and other early intervention treatments, but you've destroyed all your credibility by hitching your wagon to one view. That you accuse other people of not being open minded when you're so dead set against the idea of vaccines being effective is laughable.

You didn't pay any attention to that video at all did you? The medically trained presenter examined the numbers in a recent extensive study on the subject. He identified the study. It is published by a number of recognised research professionals who have used Israeli Govt. numbers. This paper can be easily found and read in the original. The numbers it presents do not support the CDC statement. The CDC do not provide any reference supporting their contrary statement.

The presenter recommends vaccination, so clearly he isn't
anti-vax. Importantly however he also recommends personal risk assessment in making that decision. This does suggest he is anti-mandate, however he does not directly address that matter as it isn't a thing in the UK, at least at present.

You have made preemptory judgement that his information is not valid on the basis of him contradicting the CDC authority, not on the merit of his presented data. You probably also dismiss him based on the link being provided by me. Evidently you dismiss him personally, not rationally, and do so on the basis of perceived unorthodoxy and by associating him with me.

In context to all of this the rest of your post is complete garbage. It constitutes a garden variety episode of psychological projection.

Not a grand global conspiracy. Nonethless political and commercial conspiracies occur pervasively and constantly. These might often be euphemism as strategies, but any covert procedure that seeks narrow sectoral or individual outcomes at cost or impact to public equity or well-being can be reasonably termed a conspiracy. Sometimes these 'strategies' conflate into larger realms of converging interest.
Look, I understand what you mean but with your verbose communication style I have to wonder if you originate somehow from the Waleed Aly / Scott Stephens school of communication. The Minefield is hard listening.
Remember you are talking to mainly us BigFooty plebs here (apart from the psychopath PapaG who is so deluded to believe he has some innate superior wit and talent which sets him apart.)
Remember intelligent people can describe complex things in simple terms, you aren’t achieving that in some of your posts.

Just a basic effort to understand what I said would plainly indicate the information source was the Government and, by obvious consequence, the conduit was a mainstream news broadcaster. Don't let bog obvious context get in the way of your self amusement.

And don't be too precious about 'like' profiles. Check out who liked this one of yours that I'm responding to. But then maybe you sit together at the footy and spill beer all over each other. Bonding has inexplicable patterns.
Yes a basic effort.

Oh and did you look at his list of links.. a scrambled mess of all the anti vax arguments he could find, some totally unrelated to his article, and conveniently not clickable. In fact I have read and heard of many of those before. The stuff he writes about ventilators was well known last year, it’s not some brilliant hidden insight he alone has. Doctors publicly started questioning the over use of ventilators after the initial phases of ventilating too many and too early likely resulted in extra deaths. As for his other stuff.. he has a theory, that’s all.
Also the fact that the virus causes inflammation and micro clotting is well known by all medicos.
Look some of his stuff might be based in fact but it looks like a bit of fear mongering to me.

Again..Can you explain who he is, his credentials, why does he want to be anonymous?

The majority of the links are medical publications, either journals or published papers. Of course some of the items are already known or indicated. Otherwise they wouldn't be referenced in medical papers. The links are dead due to the coding on that host site. There is a downloadable version with live links at a different URL. Personally I find cutting and pasting the links into a separate page to be the best review method. That would be hard on a mobile device.

The significant value of the piece is to collate a comprehensive view of all of the disparate pieces of the pathology and provide an accessible description of the various cellular process involved. Why that has not otherwise been done is unknown to me. The whole scenario is horrific. Maybe that is why it's not been put together. Then again it is likely not deemed to be easy or popular reading at a 'market level'. His effort in that regard is both welcome and commendable.

That is why I posted it despite the predictable distraction of the more speculative parts it puts forward. It is disturbing to read the adamant assertions serially made on this forum in utter absence of any knowledge of what Covid actually is and does, and thereby how the vaccine is configured and acts to engage it.

If he is a professional in health care or in any intellectual industry, law perhaps, the reason for anonymity is self-evident.

I find the more speculative parts of his outline compelling to consider. They are all supported to some extent with valid references. Are they proved, either in part or in whole? No. Can they be disproved, either in part or in whole? No.

You see the thing is, blowhard, is that unlike you I'm not some nut job spending my whole day posting random thesis-length pompous medical theories on a footy forum.

No you're an uniformed conformist spending your whole day posting shallow rhetoric onto a footy forum. I agree that your profile possibly better suits the playing field, but without hope and optimism we die.

I want your new CD. When's it out?

The first part of your post was a nice conspiracy theory : Some prominent immunologists and virologists are saying otherwise. However their observations and concerns do not get blanket media coverage. Not worthy of a response really.

You did say a global experiment is being conducted with the vaccines. I decided to respond to that. The vaccines are doing their jobs as predicted.

I suspect your brain is hurt a lot of the time. All self-inflicted.

Tell me how the italicised quote is incorrect. Stop making bland assertions. Provide a few facts.

The comment you replied to specifically related to vaccine efficacy over time and the need for ongoing jabs. The experiment reference was made in direct context to that matter. If you demand the right to reply to select statements taken out of context then you also invoke the likelihood of being ignored or ridiculed.

However I am sure you are aware that just because a research paper is published somewhere does not make its findings indisputable, it could be flawed.
For example the large meta analysis on ivermectin was withdrawn eventually when found to be fraudulent and sloppy science.

Also you are just guessing as to who Spartacus is. Let is be honest he could be a Russian troll being paid to create confusion and dissent for for all we know ( ok just kidding)
