I'm not debating the numbers--- all I'm suggesting is that the Mornington Peninsula is in lockdown despite those numbers because there's a track record of people in that region not following health advice RE: lockdowns (both with residents breaking quarantine restrictions in March and then people Whale watching yesterday).

Why do you think that the Mornington Peninsula & whale watching has been mentioned in the Daily Press conferences twice in the past two days?

That is bullshit dude and you know it, in fact i will go even further than the Peninsula and list 8 council areas here in the south east that show we shouldn't even be apart of this lockdown, maybe Andrews and Patton should be directing their angst at the City of Melbourne which has roared into first place instead of taking deflecting pot shots at an area that has 0 infections.

Give it time to spread some more. The AFL will get tired of musical chairs and quarantining.
The vic teams have been told they are in the hubs for 32 days max. I cannot see the Victorian issue resolving itself in 32 days. Let’s make a market of how many will cop it they have to stay longer, how many go home to vic and whether or not the AFL calls it over.

The players wen t into the hubs thinking is was only going t o be four games. It looks like it's up to six already with Melbourne in lock down for that time. I suspect it could last longer. The question is how long can t hhey stay in a hub until they break (In before someone mentions Reiwoldt has already).

I understand that you disagree with me on the fact that I believe schools are a high-risk location (because your daughter is in Year 12 and wants to go to school) and that you want to go about your daily life and watch whales-- but I'm not Daniel Andrews nor am I the one making or enforcing the rules.

Because he is deflecting, you obviously watch the presser, did he tear strips of the City Of Melbourne, there is no reason to criticise an area that has 0 infections because people were whale watching in the open air, that's a campaigner act by a person notorious for shifting the blame from where it should be directed and you have been sucked in by it considering you were ranting all yesterday about it.

Politicians are liars and will always direct blame elsewhere from where it should be and i repeat, don't get sucked in by their lies.

Most of the casey cases are linked to the eid outbreak from the party out west as well.

We had idiots from the west driving to knox to shop because their shops were empty due to lockdowns, just roadblock the westgate and the ringroad and let the rest of us go about our lives, except for the kfc dickheads in dandenong

The ones in casey were from a security guy from a quarantine hotel. It seems to be contained.
Hallam largely co-operated with the doorknock testers and didn't show up many ( if any ) positives.

I found out something about Cardinia.

Remembering that the cases are recorded by residential address.
There is a fairly major project underway in Cardinia with many workers, if not most, living outside that area. Lots from the west.

These numbers could indicate a new trend in WA, the numbers may not look like much at present, but remember that Victoria had a similar trend early on before things got out of control.
