What bat do you use? Or recommend using?

I'm going to fork out for this, this summer.

adidas INCURZA

Just two clean sleeve long blades, think they're called Champs. They're excellent.

Purchased a Bradbury S100 last week. Wasn't cheap but hopefully with the massive profile it'll be worth it in the end. Just started oiling it today, will probably start using it in the nets in a couple of weeks.

the only thing about the bradbury's is they have the wierd oval shaped grip for your bottom hand - if you can put up with that they are a very decent piece of willow. I used a few in the nets but the grip takes a lot of getting used to.

Yeah the handle is a little different as it's circular at the top and oval at the bottom and it takes some getting used to. But it stops the bat rotating if there's a miscued shot, allowing more power into the shot. It also allows you to relax the bottom hand allowing for more control with the top hand.

Mate, hope you fall in love with yours the way i did mine. Thing was a machine, best chunk of willow i've had. When it came out the middle boy did it stay hit, even slightly off middle would still create some decent power. After a couple of net sessions completely forget about the slightly different shaped handle. Can't wait to have a hit with it again.

All I can say is don't buy a bat based on the stickers, go into a store and find the best bat you for, best grains, weight etc. At cricket I see too many people buy bats for the stickers and they could have got something better for them.

Im using a Slazenger v389 pro, who knew the $200 I paid for it would produce such a great bat, the best I have ever used.

Spot on. I've always gone with a bat with this type of grip for the very reasons you mentioned.

Also It feels so much better because I never second guess myself as the bowler is coming in. Before I always took a second or third look at my grip to make sure my hands are were in the right spot. Now I can just feel it all the time.

I use a Gray Nicolls Predator Gold. It's from a few years back but I really like it. It has a big profile and superb middle but it is also quite light. The only thing is the 'sweet-spot' is fairly high up, so it is hard to execute a good drive.

Want my next bat to be a G&M, Newbery or Fisher.

I've had a couple predator long blades, awesome bats and excellent value.

Fisher also seem to be excellent value. Is it around $500 for a custom made bat? Thats $300 cheaper than the Gray Nicolls Legend custom made. I may be wrong but Fisher bats seem very cheap and from what I've heard they're nice bats.

Screaming Cat Professional - Best Bar None! totally handmade to my specs by the best batmaker in the world - Unbelievably good bat. Do yourself a favour go and see Julian Millichamp - best couple of hours and $ you will ever spend.

It'll put you back $700 + though, but agreed they are sensational bats. Myself I've had a GM Catalyst for the last 3-4 years, been a great bat but cracked the handle/shoulder's last season. Have recently purchased myself one of these babies.

2"11, but picks up like a 2"7-2"8. I couldn't beleive how light all the bats feel these days, well since I bought my last bat anyway. This was the only bat I picked up that felt like I was actually holding something. Accompanied by a nice 39mm edge

Where did you get that from? Looks nice.

There was a guy i played with who owned one of them KD bats. If they cost $700 he wouldve been forking out about $10 per run i reckon.

Retail is about ~ $600 for that bat. But I know a few people so I got a 20% discount which brought it down to about $500 after paying for the pressing and extra-tec.
