I don't think the chanting is all bad. Just no recycled soccer songs.

Well, I guess I wouldn't fit in very well then.
I was getting so psyched about this thing. But then in comes the 'no singing' crowd... what happened to going all out for your team?
Then what do you want me to do?
Chant

If your so determined to sing sit at home with a Celine Dion CD, and headphones and have a ball.
If you want to barrack, come chant.
I'm not sure what exactly it is you want? You don't want singing but you want chanting? I have no problems with some of the songs mentioned in this thread, I agree that some of the soccer songs are garbage but there's certainly a few worth learning.

You have your own cult?
Dont let van Berlo hear of this...
I am a cult figure at Adelaide United... oooooohhhh the hell I will raise at AAMI when given the chance.
At United games... its shirts off at goals. I did it at any goal that put AUFC in front, even when its been p**sing with rain and windy as. I didn't name myself as a cult figure, I forget who it was that did... but someone did. I've even got my own smiley on the AUFC forums. lol![]()
However, have never and will never do that at AAMI Stadium. Your eyes will be spared... but your ears wont!
Anyone with a radio should be stripped of it at the gate.
Anyone with a cushion - get rid of it
Anyone with an A cap - punt it

The radio helps drown out the imbeciles who yell out crap like “kick it long” or whinge about how slow the ball is moving.
I have all 3 (not sure where the A cap is now) but I listen to the radio and have a cushion and would still be louder than you.

So ease up turbo.
