Carlton

He was played out of position, his natural spot is up forward; whereas in 2015 he was mostly played at Carlton.

Resigned to the fact the four they'll pickup from gws will probably be higher value for them in the end. Add in Kedge...Gutsy trade by the blues and hope it works out for them.

More so I hope it works out for us. Will be sending telepathic strong knee vibes whenever I see him.

We had high hopes for Troy, but probably saw some writing on the wall and cashed in while he was still contracted.

Get his body and mind right and he'll terrorise oppositions; picture a superior, non-criminal Didak. Hopefully he has a great career... but not too great

Apparently we overpaid for Menzel because Port could have just gotten him with their 4th rounder.

The obsession about Menzel on the Port board is bordering on scary. They are very worried about how good he could be and how cheaply he was picked up.

You got him for peanuts, sos should have seen he was getting ripped off in this deal, rather then holding up the yarran deal as much.

Got on traded to GWS with a pick we got for Lachie Henderson from Geelong and then shifted us higher up in draft order that eventually got us Charlie Curnow. The players we got from GWS were Plowman whom likely to be 200 game player for us plus tried out Lamb, Phillips, Sumner with the Kerridge guy we got from you.

Very very happy with Charlie Curnow and more than satisfied with Plowman progress in 2017.

Sad to see Menzel not make much of his career and out of system two years later but in the end looks like SOS had the vision to see it coming and got something for him before it ended.

For the record nothing wrong with Adelaide's trade at the time.
Just not worked out but was funny reading some of the arrogant posts at the time that a few posted.

Oh nothing wrong at all in thinking a player we drafted initially may turn out to be a good one and ended up a bust.

Some posters though carried on about how good he would be though deep into this year when there was warning signs that he was looking like a dud.
