Carlton will win
Interesting interpretation of the Stinger / FatRed incident. I was at the game & the incident occurred in fron of where I sit. Lance ran some distance away from the play to knock Stinger ... but that is all in the past now. I could understand Lance was fustrated about being well held by Kenny!

Crows to win. ;)

K-Mac, didn't the AFL call for any witnesses to the incident to come forward at the time and nobody did? Or was that just a media beat up?

It was teh usual cone of silence ODN

I hate it. Footballers encouraged to be dishonest by their peers and allow players to get belted behind play.

All clubs do it and its wrong.

Even Rioli only went cause they got it on video.

As Jars said, the players who saw the incident kept quiet. The incident didn't affect the result of the game as the Crows won comfortably. Also, from memory I don't believe Stinger's concussion kept him out of the following week's game. No major drama, although I was angry at the time & booed FatRed everytime he went near to the ball thereafter.

Get over yourself. The fact that you think carlton has a chance is something I find offensive. I'm more worried by teams like Brisbane to care about the blues.

The fact that this is a Carlton board and you're on our turf suggests that we have every right to rate our team a chance. Why do you find it so offensive, especially on a Carlton board?

If you find something so optimistic from a Carltion supporters point of view offensive on their board, then too bad. Don't post here if you are just going to post garbage like this.

Well if blowing soft ****s is your thing, so be it. I'm not the judgemental type.

This will be a good game guys. It will be a lot closer affair than many are predicting. One thing I have learned over the years is never underestimate Denis Pegan. Should be a good game and hopefully we get over the line and Carey kicks 4.;)

Love your work ODN! :D

Marty, you need a little more self-contol... ;)

For the life of me I can't understand why Pagan didn't play McKernan up forward to pressure our small defence - I realise it was a greasy, wettish day but we did it with Carey and set up about 1000 goals for the smalls.

Anyway, 7 goals flattered you blokes in the end. All the best next week.

It's nice to be optimistic but really, we will struggle to contain the Crows midfield. And if they run riot and pump it into the forward line enough times they have the players capable of kicking a winning score.

I wish I could be a little more positive about this one but I just get the feeling that Adelaide will benefit more from the weeks break than we will. Not only that, they are a top 4 contender and we are a bottom 4 near certainty, this makes it sound like a near mismatch.

Strange things can happen on the day I suppose ??

Hate to say I told you so ??

We were awful today, scoreless for a quarter kind of sums up our list overall.

I couldn't see McKernan doing anything that Fevola or Whitnall weren't able to do, espcially considering his current form. Would've been a waste of space IMO.

Too many passengers, lack of desperation and poor disposal (even for the conditions).

I honestly thought you guys should have had a dead and burried at QT so rto speak. Open forward line definetly caused us headaches early and you burnt the ball to no end going forward. Far being it for me to question Pegan but I didn't understand why he wouldn't play someone like Fevola one out of the goals square and have the rest of the forwards accross half forward line.

I did like Fisher. He has got a strong pair of hands that he showed on a couple of occasions. BTW, only my personal opinion but Franchina has got to be your worst player who has bugger all skill and his tagging tactics leave a lot to be desired.

I must have been drunk. I wouldn't believe you except for the teeth marks and your chapped lips. Was it as good for you?

Campo has had a good season so far. But I believe he still needs to take a paycut... playing the remainder of games in great from this season won't be enough to justify the pay that he's on.

Kouta, Whitnall and Thornton also played well. I'll excuse Allan because conditions weren't suited to him and it's his 3rd game back. Fisher should've been on the ground the whole time. Fevola should be leading out from the goal square! Whitnall should ONLY be placed in the forward line as his presense gives us more of a chance. The rest of the team should have a good, hard look at themselves (as if they haven't already).
