I hope you’re trying to employ reverse psychology.

Geelong haven’t been great this year.

Scott is a better coach than Nicks but even allowing for that, we have a bloody good side now with a forward line that doesn’t need many chances and a much better midfield than we have.

If we lose this game we are no where near the level we need to be.

We almost beat them in Geelong last year.

I just can’t see us losing and we should cover the line comfortably. We owe these ****ers.
There's a bit of reverse psychology in it. I'm lowering my own expectations

If there is a way to bet for which team gets the most free kicks tonight, I would bet the house on the Crows winning that ledger.

Feel like the AFL umpires will be rubbing the green of the home team with all its might. They have 2 weeks worth of frees to dish out!

If there is inherent bias, I’d bet on it going the other way. First, to contradict Chris Scott’s claim about home town favour and second, to disprove that evening up can occur. Us getting the rub of the green only perpetuates current claims.

Wouldn't want to be the umpires at half time if they try and rip us off tonight.

As much as I like contradicting Chris Scott. I'm sticking with Crows getting the rub, and it not being close!

The AFL loves the even up

I reckon it'll finish even, or +1 or 2 either way. The umps will be all over the stats at 3QT to see who needs the even uppers.

Or this, if we are 10 goals up, we will get a bunch of junk free kicks that make no difference to the result so they can say, see, you guys got a goid run tonight. BUT if the game is close, we won't get anything meaningful other than free kicks in areas of the ground where they have no impact and Geelong will get a number of strategic frees in parts of the ground that will be aimed to kill any momentum we might start to generate. Keep your eye on when and where the umps inject themselves into the game for Geelong.

If we are a serious team, we win comfortably tonight.

Defense is a concern, hopefully they need Jezza up the ground winning the ball. Keane can't let Neale have an Amartey type of night. I'd have Max on Danger. Milera/Laird really need their best tonight, can't have Miers running around like an unregistered dog, he is instrumental to their offensive efforts.

We should comfortably win the midfield battle, a lot of that will come down to ROB breaking even.

Crows by 34.

Hold on a second, we're up against a side with an unlimited salary cap courtesy of the Costa Living allowance. How can anyone hope to beat a side that has assembled $20m worth of cattle.

I’m hearing Stewart is out. Huge if true
My first thought was 'It would be nice to beat them with Stewart" but then my second thought was 'Thank Christ if it is true'.

I do feel like over the years when opposition lose key players in the lead up, we end up losing the match.

The Cats will come with a plan to beat us. However, we have showed signs of adjusting our game plan by dropping a tall defender. This is unheard of for us.
