Or this, if we are 10 goals up, we will get a bunch of junk free kicks that make no difference to the result so they can say, see, you guys got a goid run tonight. BUT if the game is close, we won't get anything meaningful other than free kicks in areas of the ground where they have no impact and Geelong will get a number of strategic frees in parts of the ground that will be aimed to kill any momentum we might start to generate. Keep your eye on when and where the umps inject themselves into the game for Geelong.

I hope you’re trying to employ reverse psychology.

Geelong haven’t been great this year.

Scott is a better coach than Nicks but even allowing for that, we have a bloody good side now with a forward line that doesn’t need many chances and a much better midfield than we have.

If we lose this game we are no where near the level we need to be.

We almost beat them in Geelong last year.

I just can’t see us losing and we should cover the line comfortably. We owe these ****ers.

That game was the one I decided Nicks will never be a Premiership coach.
He said in the presser he didn't want to make changes late in the game to upset momentum.

Also think this is the reason the club sought out Murray Davis.

I'm feeling reasonably comfortable about tonight's game. I saw Geelong last week and they looked pretty ordinary to me. not a lot of forward firepower to be concerned with IMO, Cameron can bob up occasionally with some big hauls, and Stengle to a lesser extent, but outside of that not much.

I'm not sure their backline can contain our forward line if we play smart footy and not the bomb it in long as that's what they like.

We are full of confidence and playing like a team with some real self belief.

Bring home the 4 points boys!!!

We have the skills and class across the field to win this game comfortably at home

We should have beaten them last year but we copped Geelong in the middle of Nicks trying out his awful defensive gameplan

That side last year featured Burgess, Murphy, McHenry, Jones, Berry and Smith

This year we've got Thilthorpe, Neal-Bullen, Peatling, Cumming, Curtin, Nankervis

And the game we got the big 3 together up forward we managed to lead until 5 minutes left against them in Geelong. Had a quick look back at the highlights and they really struggled matching up on Thilthorpe.

We are now in far better form, have a better team and with a point to prove on the big stage. We've got this!

It wouldn't be surprising. Even Geelong have said that his PCL injury will have to be continually managed all season.

I’m not sure to be honest. I know his knee def isn’t 100%. If they do end up selecting him, we aren’t going to get peak Stewart. So it’s a win either way I suppose. Personally, I’m still skeptical. I reckon he plays
