Slattery, Prismall and McVeigh are the only definate outs at this stage I reckon, Hille and Fletch will play on for 1 more.
Question marks remain on Gumby, Browne, Ross and Steinberg... all the others wil get new deals... why is the club taking so long to announce them??

Slattery and McVeigh definately. I wouldn't be surprised if Prismall was retained on a one year contract. The decisions on Hille and Fletcher will largely come down to their form in the next 7 - 8 weeks. If they taper off then I wouldn't be surprised if both go.

You would have, he was in line for selection early on but the injury came at the worst time for him, if you seen the NAB cup, he did a cracking job on Priddis, and carried that form into the VFL, unfortunate that his injury is a shocker, hes a half back turned stopper, and was excelling at VFL level.

I don't think Dyson is a lock in for staying now to be honest. I know he played well earlier in the year, but I reckon we need to make space on the list.
Lonergan should stay though I think. Last night showed his importance with getting the ball in close.
NLM will stay.
Davis will stay.
Davey will stay.

Gone should be: Hille (retire), McVeigh (retire), Slattery (delist), Steinberg (delist), Dyson (trade/delist)
Fletcher may retire also.
The unknowns are Reimiers and Prismall.

of the rookies to have played in the ones, Bags is the only one i would promote, Del and Lee im not sold on, especially Lee. Bags has proved himself in each of his limited opportunities.

Will David Hille be offered around come trade time? I think its pretty safe to say his career is pretty much over in the red and black.. unless they keep him for a further 12 months as injury insurance for TB and Ryder?

McVeigh will retire, Slats and Dyson to be delisted unless traded, Reimers will be offered around as will Monfries but i have a feeling both will stay...

As for rookies: Dell, Lee and Bags have all shown something this year but i think only Bags will get elevated permanently if he hasn't already been snapped up by another club (like Jenkins last year). Hunter and Long have too many injuries, Dalgliesh will stay a second year.

Is it beyond the realms of possibility that Fletch might announce his retirement this week? I'd say he is far more likely to play on but they say the end can come quickly, and it's possible that he's been weighing up his options in recent weeks.

I just want to go on record and say that I think Dalgleish is capable of playing seniors next year and I hope he gets elevated. He has pace, skills and good decision-making. Doesn't get a lot of the ball, but the same can be said of Kav, Merrett and NOB. But I've only seen him play three times via telecast games, so I'm not sure whether my perception of him is accurate.
