I wonder why neither GC nor Port preferred to deal with North. Their first pick next year should be a good one.

All North said was they are offering F1, the media interpret that as their F1 which was why it was crazyIf north already offered their future first and port weren't jumping at it, what does another lesser future first do?
North have made a offer to Caleb Daniel apparently not a bad cheap pickupSeems north are moving on from
Houston and looking to acquire a last large haul of top 20 picks.
I would have loved Houston but 4 picks inside 25 is better long term.

He makes far more sense for North than spending first rounders on soon-to-be 28yo’s.North have made a offer to Caleb Daniel apparently not a bad cheap pickup
We probably have offered that alreadyWhy don't Carlton offer Owies and 2025r1 for Houston?
We may be splitting because we have our own draft targets in what we consider is a fairly even draft. Please pay up north. I’d rather take the draft pick than Dan.
I think you’re underplaying how much effect Tasmania coming in could have on some clubs it’s not just draft picks either, north Melbourne for example probably there best young player mckercher will be the number 1 target for the Tasmanian team something like that if it happened would be a huge loss for a developing club like north

No because it's virtually equal points value. Needs a premium added.Carl pick 12, F1 be enough?

They want the Saints picks. What’s a fair deal for pick 2? I suspect North have come out and said this straight after the Saints compensation news because North wants the two top 10 Saints picks.

Port still wants to challenge and unless they can use your picks to trade in a player, he won't be going anywhere. What’s a fair deal for pick 2? I suspect North have come out and said this straight after the Saints compensation news because North wants the two top 10 Saints picks.

pies will get him. 13 should be enough. Any more for a 28 year old next season is overs
Depends if we approach Carlton, but I suspect not in that case. If I had to guess, we are pushing for the saints picks as you suggest. What’s a fair deal for pick 2? A top 10-ish pick and f1 would normally be enough. But seem it appears a fairly even draft, 2 might not be as valuable as in previous drafts. No because it's virtually equal points value. Needs a premium added.
I think perhaps try to trade 12,2025r3 to gws for 15,16.We probably have offered that already
Apparently Port not particularly interested in Owies and we're not keen enough on Houston to do it with the picks they wantI think perhaps try to trade 12,2025r3 to gws for 15,16.
Then trade 15,2025r2,owies for Houston,2025r3.
So Carlton overall lose 12,owies,2025r2 for Houston,16.
Port probably want more though.
If Houston was playing any big Vic club they would be asking for 2 1st.
But because he plays for Port he is worth less
Yeah I actually rate him to be honest a good kick hits targets is quick and considering his size actually competes ok in contests. He makes far more sense for North than spending first rounders on soon-to-be 28yo’s.
Takes some of us 40 years...Yeah everyone moves back to Tassie once they experience the mainland! I reckon we'll be ok.
