Just had a chat to Patrick Dangerfield. he's here to sit in on the crows' interviews, just back from a break in byron!

Last year we took Porplyzia who had to role play as if he was Goodwin with some of the draftees. Wonder what Dangerfield will be doing?

I think is great to have players up there for that role. I'm sure Danger will provide some good feedback. I'd also place money on the fact we are looking very very closely at a couple of Geelong Falcon players....

Who from the Falcons do you think the AFC have their eyes on? Is there anyone that is highly rated?

Maybe he's going there to make the point that "If you're not playing for the Crows, you're playing against me...":p

spot on!! or he's telling them how awesome the club is and that it's only a 1 hour flight home so there's no need to be homestick hence you'll never need to leave!

Dangerfield is a great choice. Not only does it give him some experience at being a leader at a very young age, but he would also be great to tell the kids about how the Crows were very good to him, allowing him to stay at home and then how he was able to move from that to becoming an AFL player.

Mind you, I guess the point of these camps is not to necessary advertise yourself to the players, rather the other way around :o Still a good experience for him.

The Falcons almost always have a good player or two. What was the comment from Dangerfield's year, something like "the best Falcon is usually very good... and this year it's Dangerfield."

BEN CUNNINGTON

Gary Rohan as well, but there's no chance he'll get near our pick.

Also: Callum Bartlett & Allen Christensen, both midfielders. Joseph Dare, 188cm swingman. Jasper McMillan-Petterd, medium rebounding defender with a leg. Tom MacKenzie & Luke Thompson, tall defenders.

hopefully said by Dangerfield himself :D

I love his comment in the shed after the Bombers final 'why do you think they targeted Bernie Vince instead of yourself for treatment?'

'Im tougher than Bernie'

pure goldage.

Danger could also give a very good insight to the draftees regarding what shape you need to be in when you turn up on day 1 of pre-season

That's almost good for a sig!

Dangerfield: Tougher than Bernie!

lol :thumbsu:

This is awesome :D:thumbsu: I can't wait until next season when I can watch him running through the midfield more regularly!

Hang on, so only one of them has a leg?!

I don't know about you, but I'd certainly hope that they all have legs - or this will be the worst draft ever! What is rendell thinking!

No wonder Rendell doesn't rate this draft.

"I believe, if you check the statistics over the past ten years or so, that players with legs have a significantly higher success rate, in terms of games played, than players without legs. For this reason we do not consider this to be a good draft. However, Gold Coast and West Sydney are going to pick up the 27 best legless youngsters in the country over the next few years. I don't think people realise what is going to happen."

I know he had a horror year, but Jack Fitzpatrick could be worth a geez if he could be molded to a ruck possy.

Anyone know more about him, besides his poo year.
