Two first round picks won't hurt us long-term. We built our three premierships on players from Pick 30 on in the draft, and only Selwood, Bartel and Mackie were top ten.
Top ten picks are overrated anyway (how many teams who tanked for early picks have gone on to win flags- that's right- zero).
So we will back in flag contention within three to five years, with our promising youngsters having 100-150 games in them by then, and we will still have Selwood, Harry Taylor, and Hawkins, and of course, Danger.
You claim to have a better list then us, yet only finished a game and a half ahead next year. Without Dangerfield, how many more will you win then us next year, do you think?
Where will Adelaide be by then?
