I assume the media held Morrison up to a very high standard? Oh, no, that's right, they unanimously editorialised for him.
Pessutto is in court right now being sued for defamation by his own party, but we've got the conspiracy theorists calling now-retired Andrews one of the greatest criminal masterminds ever.
The only reason Andrews cops so much is because of how much the legacy media in Victoria hates him and has attacked him in every way possible. The fact that it comes down to a set of stairs and a kid from 20 years ago says they don't have much on him. Compared to Gladys, Scomo or any other politician at the time, he's done pretty bloody well.
The Libs of the time are leaving in disgrace but without the media attacks.

A statue no less? Just to rub it in to the families who unnecessarily lost loved ones over COVID lock-downs and businesses that went broke. They better put this statue on top of the Eureka building because it won't last anywhere else! What an insult to every single Victorian.

Not much satisfies me living in Victoria anymore, the Andrews statue will be a blight on every Victorian living here, the bloke should be in the "hoosegow"...The bloke can barely be out in public anymore. That should be enough for you to be satisfied Jacky boy.

The process of installing one of Andrews is under way. It is unclear how much it will cost or its possible location."
Leading sculptor Peter Corlett, who created the other four statues, has previously said the monuments can cost in excess of $100,000
