Super man couldn’t have defended the first mark, 2nd goal was after Howe drop the mark and was a freakish goal, 3rd was on Howe and the last really should have been a free to Moore for blocking. He won every other 1 on 1 and they went for Curnow all day. I thought he was really good. His form is improving.

Gave up on the last goal and allowed Curnow to get out the back for an easy goal when we could have forced a set shot. Was caught holding the ball really badly. Had a really good game otherwise but these are moments that didn’t need to happen.

I'd need to watch again. But I thought noone else got there -if he ran to Curnow to stop the handball, the bloke with the ball would have walked into goal wouldn't he?

He didn’t really get there though he just put his arms up and complained. Howe was going to get the mark eventually.l and even if the bloke with the ball did play on he wouldn’t have been able to get to the goal square and it would have been a much riskier decision.

Howe was not close enough. If you look at replay, shows 2 Carlton and Moore, Howe not in the picture.

Carlton player in front and Moore was interfered with by Curnow. Could have been a free kick to him.

Anyway, with less than two minutes to go, Daicos should never have kicked long. That was not the play.

Irrespective of whether Howe was close enough or not you don’t give up, put your arms arm and complain and let your man get out the back for an easy goal.

Not sure what exact Daicos kick you’re talking about but if we’re thinking of the same one my view was there weren’t any easy pass option whilst we had Cox long for the bail out kick.
 
Has played much much better the last 2 weeks. Kept Taberner goal less last week & played well on Curnow.
Yes Curnow ended with 4.
1 was a Joe the goose after blocking Moore from competing.
1 was an arsey snap after Howe dropped an easy mark right in front of him.
1 - he was against Howe while Moore was on the bench.
1 he legitimately got enough space on Moore to mark in front. This was the only one he was beaten on the lead or in the air by Curnow.

You let down the team by giving away a free that should never have been there and given how under siege we were at that stage of the game it was totally unnecessary.. I believe they scored a goal from the sequence of play which followed that kick. Don't you think a player who does something reckless and unthinking is hurting his team?
 
What is the news on about saying Darcy Moore in the wars?

I reckon he should not have appealed to the umps at the end even though it was a free but how come it was 2 on 1 with Moore having to fly against Silvagni and Curnow.

His defensive efforts were first rate today, ably supported by our whole back half.
 
Had a great game besides getting one of his kicks smothered. Has really improved the past month. Such a crucial defender esp when his on song

Darcy Moore was absolutely sensational today. Undeniably a superstar and hopefully our next skipper.

Forget the smothered kick, Kossy wasn’t outside 5m and play should’ve been brought back unless there’s a rule I’m missing?
 
What I'm loving most about Darcy this year is his passion for the jumper. I've seen him turn to the crowd during and after games multiple times to rev them up or to celebrate victory. Players have no idea how much this means to supporters. You feel we are a real club and in it together. Many time over the past few decades the players and club have tended to take their supporter base for granted. Fly constantly references the crowd support and how much it means too. I love it.

I loved his post match interview in the rooms too. He is clearly excited by his back six. I did feel a bit for Madge if he happened to be listening.
