Watching Monday's with Maxy... he did actually do some nice things. Just not many of them. Not sure whether keeping him in or taking him out of the team is the right option... hmmm
 
Because I'd say he'd be more of a liability than Jonathan Marsh or Tyson Goldsack down back.

Up forward, he'd be more of a liability than Brodie Grundy/Jarrod Witts/Jesse White.

You could say we need to fast track his development, but put it simply, if in the future our premiership chances rests on the development of Darcy Moore... then we probably had no chance for the premiership anyway.

How do you know Moore be more of a Liability then Marsh?

Players who are Rated Highly by Clubs do get Fast Tracked

Simply based on VFL performance.

Marsh hasn't put a step wrong down back.

Has a more developed body, and would have played against more senior and experienced players.

How do you know he wouldn't?

I am not saying he Wouldn’t. Moore and Marsh where doing a very good job down back at start of the Year

Take your blinkers off Dave. Marsh has been out performing Moore in defence all year. Basic logic says he should out perform Moore at AFL level too.

Well Marsh has played down back all year and Moore missed with a Hammy and Then Came back as a Forward.

Then why Moore played ahead of Marsh then?
 
Moore needs to play forward. Whether VFL or AFL that's where he needs his minutes. And this week I think that needs to be VFL.

I thought he was okay against Port. My only criticism is he takes an age to dispose of the ball. That's the step up in pace to the AFL, and with time he'll get there. No doubt. Good signs but early days.

Playing in the VFL won’t help him get Rid of the Ball Quicker. More AFL games he plays better that should become.

Moore most likley play VFL this weekend but Hopefully he can put Pressure on White to Perform

No it won't, you're right. But he isn't ahead of Brown or Frost either and has no role against the Eagles in defense. If it isn't forward this week, it's nowhere. White is better forward, so it's VFL this week for Moore imo.

White might be a Better Forward at the Moment but I suspect that Next Year that could Change

The Moore selection a few weeks ago was the right call, with Grundy out he was the next best forward. With Grundy back in he unfortunately goes out. I don't think it will it will effect his chances of becoming a great player

Look at Daniher, he played a handful of games in his first season they are a similar build / size but went back and kicked allot of goals in the VFL got confidence. Even if More does that again next year to get some consistent footy I am not worried, he needs to build an AFL Tank and Strength. The advantage we have over Essendon is he will come in and be the 2nd or 3rd target not the main target like Daniher is most weeks

I don't mind pumping games into Moore but it wouldn't hurt either to see where Marsh is at or to continue trialling 2 rucks.

As a side point, we will have a lot of disappointed posters this year because our depth is so good. Grundy, Greenwood, Kennedy, Marsh, Sinclair this week.
 
Play Forward in VFL tommorow with Cloke Injured. Then get mire games at AFL level
