Next week is a danger game.

I still think we'll win, but I have a feeling hawthorn won't roll over. I'm not at all confident of a win over 5 goals. We own them, but they'll be damaged after todays joke and could put up a struggle for 3 quarters.

I'm going to go out on a huge limb and say that Essendon will win this game.

I agree that next week is a danger game, but I'll be absolutely furious if Hawthorn can get up and beat us for the first time since 1997 ... you'd have to think there team at the moment is one the worst since then and playing with the least amount of confidence.

Surely Sheeds verbal attack on them after last night's fadeout will prove to be an inspiration for a relentless, 4 quarter effort against vulnerable opposition...

Where did I say we will NOT win this? I said they will make us earn it and will put on a show for at least 3 quarters. I can't see us losing it.

The whole of the current Hawthorn team doesn't have even half the talent our team has. They might work a bit harder and play with a bit more passion, but just because those blokes literally can't hit a target 15 metres away from them, we'll win comfortably.

At this level, anybody can beat anybody if you don't come to play.

On paper, we should thrash them. Losing Bulger just has to be demoralizing for them and I don't see them being able to match up with us up forward. We clobbered them last year with a bunch of guys out.

As long as Everitt doesn't dominate in the ruck and we kick straight, we should be okay. But stranger things have happened.

I just want a four quarter effort. Tired of this team coasting when they get way up, one day we'll lose a game that way.

I know what you meant Drew. If there is one team, however, that won't put up a fight against us, it's Hawthorn.
