I think we need a rethink of our doubles. Peers is clearly a quality doubles player but his game is so structured around Kontinen.

I think I'd swap De Minaur out today. It is a very different game to Friday which was essentially a free shot with nothing to lose, today the expectation is he wins if he plays.

I guess it comes down to how he recovered mentally and physically after Friday.

I’m starting to think the same re doubles. We need to think also about who we are playing in doubles (I.e. what type of players) Interesting that Germany were happy to play Struff in the doubles and yet we are more inclined to ‘save’ our singles players.

I’d be happy to swap out De Minaur as I’m not sure how he will match up against Struff but our only other options are Ebden and Millman and I’m not sure they would be any better.

I thibk we know what we will get with Millman and Ebden. ADM is a bit of an unknown still, and therefore is capable of falling under the weight of pressure.

The flip side of that is he could do better than the experienced duo. He is more likely to perform better than the other two, yet also capable of playing worse, but the risk is worth it as even at their best, the older 2 are only 50/50 to win, but at his best, ADM should win.

Does anyone else think we have been outsmarted by Germany so far? Also, what about the court, is it working in our favour or is there little advantage to be gained there anyway? (I know, I was one of the one who said we should playing on hard courts instead of grass  )

I think I would go Millman. I would played Ebden if they had won yesterday. Don't know, maybe I am over thinking it.

Took world number 5 to 5 sets.

He's our best option on form

Nic gotta get the job done 1st

Possibly, I don't think it would of made any difference on Friday but we might have won the doubles.
