Yeah, like anyone gives a **** they went to a private schoolwould be much better if BT and James Brayshaw highighted their junior club where they played from Aus Kick, rather than the private school they joined at year 10

Interested to know what makes McKenzie stand out at that Lower level ( I’ve seen him play well at higher levels )I went to the Caulfield vs Brighton game today, wow what a game. Brighton were 50 pts down until Cam McKenzie turned up his game a few notches. This kid can play! His goal on the 3qtr time siren was all class. He won a heap of stoppages and used the ball really well in the second half. His disposal by hand is elite. Jason Binns for Caulfield had a reasonable game, solid first half. Mitch Szybkowski was one of Caulfields best as well. Nick Watson kicked 3 or 4 but 2 of his goals came from shocking errors by the umps and from memory another was a downfield free kick. When the game was in the balance he just throws his arms up in the air when he gets tackled looking for free kicks he needs to improve this side to his game.
For Brighton aside from McKenzie Jonah Campigli was a reliable performer, he won some clutch contests. Lachie McClusky had some unreal moments, took some nice contested grabs and crucial goals. Little Will Lambert was consistent all day and kicked a couple of clutch goals in the last qtr against a tricky breeze. I really liked Jamie Hope (c) he competed well all day, I can see why he Leeds Brighton. He just gives his all at every contest.
unless one of the better candidates fall to us at 7, i think MacKenzie is a good option, has been fantastic and consistent, has speed away from the contest, uses it well, knows how to share the footy, only queries i have is on goal kicking and winning the hard ball more often, otherwise he could be a top 3-4, we would hope one of the top 6 drifts to our pick to make the decision a bit harder. If MacKenzie is at Hawthorns pick, it's a pretty easy selection imo, unless there's someone who falls, but he's a classy player, good speed and just a damaging forward of centre player, he's tall and moves really well, but the fact he's also a beast at stoppages and just competitive with a really good inside and outside game mix, he shapes as a great pick.

i know my nephews got headhunted by private schools because they were good athletes and good footballers, if you do junior athletics and are good players in junior footy those schools come knocking, no matter if you go to a crappy public school ect.Yeah, like anyone gives a * they went to a private school
What's that got to do with commentators telling fans which crappy private school a player went to?i know my nephews got headhunted by private schools because they were good athletes and good footballers, if you do junior athletics and are good players in junior footy those schools come knocking, no matter if you go to a crappy public school ect.
because the crappy private school pays for the advertisement of their program through buying the allegiances of said player, its an industry after all and any advantage a youngster can get they will take. What's that got to do with commentators telling fans which crappy private school a player went to?
Yeah, I'm sure that's why commentators love mentioning which private schools they go tobecause the crappy private school pays for the advertisement of their program through buying the allegiances of said player, its an industry after all and any advantage a youngster can get they will take.

Morris is in good form atm, i was tossing up between Morris and Weatherill when i added a couple to my previous lists, i added Weatherill because he is 195cm over Morris who is 192cm, then Morris pops offI agree. I have Morris ahead of Caddy by the time the 2023 draft comes around.
Patrick Weckert starting to get noticed for next year, another that will likely have to decide between footy and cricket.Morris is in good form atm, i was tossing up between Morris and Weatherill when i added a couple to my previous lists, i added Weatherill because he is 195cm over Morris who is 192cm, then Morris pops off![]()

Nice work, agree with GC's first pick, but don't think they will take a KPF with Walters tracking well for next years draft. Suspect the second pick will be Hollands.now that most of the ladder and draft picks are set in place, we can do a more solid Phantom Draft, im going to assume North get an end of round 1 priority pick and that Rankine gets traded to Adel for their 1st round pick

I can see Gold Coast trading for Lions first round pick and Pick Hollands thereNice work, agree with GC's first pick, but don't think they will take a KPF with Walters tracking well for next years draft. Suspect the second pick will be Hollands.
That would seem logical, as long as they think he's still there at that pick. Might also try to move a pick to 2023 as there could be bids on 3 academy players.I can see Gold Coast trading for Lions first round pick and Pick Hollands there
Davo interested to know, do you rate McKenzie ahead of Tastas or you selected McKenzie on a needs basis first? Think Hawks may end up with McKenzie with Bombers taking Tsatas at 5 but you know a lot more than me so keen to understand your thinking..now that most of the ladder and draft picks are set in place, we can do a more solid Phantom Draft, im going to assume North get an end of round 1 priority pick and that Rankine gets traded to Adel for their 1st round pick
