If we do the three way deal with Brisbane and North and end up with pick 5 and Greenwood, we have been screwed in a big way.

Pick 25 and 5 should get the deal done according to Swann lol. That is getting nothing done, I don't think he has heard anything the last few weeks where we said we want a player who can come in and replace him. Unless we get that, it ain't happening and some other club will pick him up in the preseason draft next year.

What about Pick 5 + redden + 3rd round for beams + our second rounder (28?)

then they can use parts of 25 + 28 + whatever they get for patful to manufacture a trade for christensen.

This would means we probably need a second rounder for harry to satisfy the greenwood trade.

Depending how many picks we plan on using we could try slightly upgrade the two third rounders we have

I personally believe that's about the value that we require because I rate Greenwood in the 15-20 range pick wise. The question I have though is why are you jumping at shadows with your opinion? Eade was emphatic that the deals will be separate and until the club softens on that everything else you hear is just noise.

Eade and Hine have been continually measured and consistent about this trade, whereas Swann keeps hopping on the radio and trumpeting about 'massive overs' and 'untouchables' while Hine quietly sits back.

They just seem like total amateurs. Hope they shit themselves on Friday.

With all of the talk out of Brisbane about untouchables and no players will be involved etc. I just can't see them going back on that. They have made their position very clear and have left little room for negotiating. I think we would already be sounding out other destinations and deals over the next few days but keep discussions open until Friday however having it known to both Brisbane and Beams' management that there is a definite deadline on Beams' club of choice

Adams replaces Ball at the bottom of packs and playing a crash and bash game. Greenwood plays the Beams role, hard clearance/link player. It's not like4like because Beams is a vastly superior player to Greenwood but this is how I see it in terms of roles.

The only percentage his manager is worried about is his cut in the deal (fair enough).

What has really disappointed me is Beamsy doesn't have the balls or decency to tell the truth.
If he did to that it might diminish his chance to get to the Bears and the obvious $ in his pocket.

It's pretty simple. They'll just say the player told them he wanted to leave for <insert reason here> (after discussing it with said player).

I "think" the club is annoyed also and that is the reason for the deadline.......makes sense with what you have said.

Like I said the night of the B&F (yes I was upset) he can play in the reserves next year for all I care if the deal for him is not good enough.

Leading Teams - 20%

Playing with Claye - 20%

If all true, then I'm 80% sure that Beams needs to take a cup of concrete and harden up. Will reserve the 20% as the father issue is fair enough. As for the other reasons get over yourself.
