Who are you most excited by about debuting in 2004?

Personally I am looking forward to seeing Andrew Mackie and Kane Tenace.

*NOTE: I added Tim Callan to the poll even though he played 1 match last year.

As every year, it's always good to see your first pick debut, so I chose Kane Tenace.

For some reason I'm also looking forward to a hopeful debut to Cameron Thurley. Taken pretty high by us, and is a proven goal sneak.

I am really looking forward to seeing Kane Tenace make his debut for us next year, and also Andrew Mackie, who I haven't seen a lot of so far in the VFL, but from all reports he could be really good.

I've seen much of Mackie in the VFL and he will debut for Geelong in 2004.

Given Thurley's age and general experience, I would expect he will make the biggest initial splash. Also Mackie with two preseasons behind should also be in a position to move up.

I'm not convinced that kane will be that ready, still a little too scrawny. No doubt he will get a few games, but will be in and out of the team. I'm personally looking forward to the usuals on this board moaning about how Bomber never gives the kids a run.

It's got to be Mackie and Tenace. You always expect big things from early pick, rightly or wrongly.

I also can't wait to see Thurley play. I still can't understand why we didn't take him later but that doesn't stop me hoping he's got something special.

How come Frank Spencer didn't make the poll ?

I'm looking forward to seeing Mr Mackie play seniors.

I'm not really expecting Spencer to get a game in 2004. With KPP draftees, you'll usually find that they tend to be held back for a couple of seasons before making their debut. But then again, with a reasonably matured body, Spencer might be trialled in the later part of the season.

Black Jack, Lonergan and Mr Byrnes

Byrnesy would definently be an exciting prospect to watch should he play next year. Right up there with Tenace and Mackie. But the chances of him being elevated for the upcoming season are looking rather slim.

I reckon he will be played down back. In Colin Wisbey's summary on him he said he thought he could turn out to be a good defender. If one of Scarlett or Harley went down then our depth is pretty thin so Spence might not be that far away.

Should Scarlo or Tom go down, then I'd expect Graham to move down back perminently, Playfair to move down back, and the selectors to bring in Foster from the VFL. Spencer would surely be one of the last options.

If he's ready, give the kid a go.

I'd rather cheer him on than Daniel Foster.
